I swapped in adolph for enna with two sets of skill haste gear. Tried swapping in Isolde for Frurbath too. I might just need better gear on my tank? Like some legendary stuff with bigger bonuses. wisp things are attacking heksandra now but i don't think they do aoe damage right? So she might be better target anyway to keep healing focused up front....

Yeah I can't make it past the bosses second time through skills even after I tried upping accuracy of Isolde. Those are my builds. I tried with acc +30 aura and with defense +24% aura.

usually for gov, if the tank have issues with survivability, i tend to switch around my tank gears from def% to hp%, or hp% to def%. you might need to farm curse for a bit, and try getting those lego green sets for your tank.

If you go frost, i highly recommend Dorkuraz. Pair him with others who benifit from frost like usha. I have hochadir too but again, should be paired with someone who benefits from frost applicators. Torrin is an awesome healer. I leveled up Zadok to 100 but i'm
not super impressed.

Fire MC benefits from either 2 crit set, or 2 haste set.
Dane benefits from 2 x haste set more so imo.
Sigrid benefits from blue haste set (accuracy), dps haste set, or crit set. Depending on content.

So here are my options. I am stuck on goblin 3-1 with 1*and I seem to get about 5.5 mil on vortex 2. Ideally I would love to have a fire team and was wondering if there was a way for me to forgo having the traveller as frost to help mitigate. My thoughts were if anyone has any team comp suggestions I would love to make something work. Also I hate having the legendaries I have and not use them but I don’t seem to have a strong tank for lightning/radiant.

You're looking to specifically improve gobbies and tempest yeah?

You'd really benefit from having Nastj in your tempo team. She scales over time and can likely be your top dps. Just gambler set her, when you can, or 2x attack speed sets.

Donelle is also pretty top tier and provides loads of soft cc.

For gobbies I'd be going Usha/Errich/Tamar/Sigrid/maybe Donella. 3-3 goblins is pretty hard to get to, without some pretty hefty gear.

I am using full fire poison up to gob 3 - 3 and 10+mil on vortex 3.

Team of ergander, dane, aldop, sigrid, fire mc for gob and erich and heksa subbing for dane and fire mc in vortex 3

Maybe you can run something like that with horrus instead of ergan for 5 units affinity

Though with access of such good leggos, you might want consider using them instead

Goblin you can ride on sigrid by gearing her with 3 set +30% dmg when ulti up. She gonna be having it up alot. I use the 20% more dmg artifact when shielded to have aldop boosting her. Accuracy up on the debuffers and let her rip the goblins a new one

Probs got soo much tank for Tempest, see if you can transfer Horrus our for more dps, and Ice MC to Fire MC. A melee/healer can take the role of most hp and absorb the lightning.

All you really wanna do for tempest, is have either attack break always on (2 units) or def up 2, which is rarer.

So you just time Sigrid+Irina/Meggan (def 1) or whatever you have, then you go all in on dps pretty much .

your legos are too spread that they might need some specific type of heroes to make them work. some rare-epic heroes are really good for your in-game progression like Dane, Sigrid, Lethander, Deverick

Torrin is the best healer for ice/necro comp. Lelwanis need some summoner heroes on her team.
a rally team is doable around philto, but I would have suggested one if you had Garius to tank-heal.

I suggest you table your Legendaries until later in the game when you can build around them. Summons and Radiant teams are pretty hard to make work early game. What you need is a Tank and One support that can do Attack down II on thier Ult. Horrus and Sigrid is a very good start, Eli and Dane for dps and Hessandra the starter poison healer. Its not flashy but easy to build and cover mostly everything you need.

its not the scrolls/skill level. its how your 'legendary' heroes synergsizes with the other. you have leveled both Philto(a rally) and Lelwanis(a summoner) which doesn't have any synergy.

rare-epic heroes with good synergy will perform better than what you are currently using.

I would not rely on a rally team, early game. Summons and Radiant/rally are pretty hard to build. The fire/poison comps post earlier would be your best start. Trust me, you wil have about 3 to 4 teams in about a month. But the suggested ones pretty much cover everything you need.

There's a bunch of great advice above for solid comps but I think you can also do a Frost/Necro comp if you're feeling spicy.

Lelwanis - Vortex & Anti-stall in PVP & non-position-dependent content
Deverick or Gulal - on-demand attack down 2 debuff

I think the 2 most annoying issues with this comp would be 1. Elvis' recharge speed penalty from his passive would make inconsistent autos and 2. It's quite epic-heavy which makes scrolling all more expensive. However, there's a lot of Recharge speed penalty in this team which helps push hard content early on before you have enough scrolls for your characters to match boss CD cycles.

He's pretty awesome, been using him in pve/pvp for a while now. He's not a tank but rather a decent debuffer, albeit with randomness (multiple debufs can be applied with his ult), he's great at crowd control, having a Knock up and stun on his battle skill can be clutch too

used him in Curse lvl 8/9 with beefed up accuracy, in Fey, Tempest domain, Pillar of Trial, PvP arena etc.

Mainly love his battle skill and his Ultimates flexible range - you can land it basically even at furthest spot on the screen if you see the need to do that.

stage 9 runs aren't successful 100% of the time, but stage 8 is on autopilot

It's Ripekas, Khrysos, Heks for heal, Sigrid for dps and Nathaniel for shield up.

@gentle hawk but you can do it without those heroes, Just get a buff remover, like rare Meggan and Groover (the little kid lightning type), a healer, and a shield remover and/or provider, like the main traveler (ice version).

whatever defense down artifact you use, put it on errich. his ultimate is 5 ticks, that also means 5x of whatever chance you can inflict the defense penalty. tonalnan is a strong epic dps in a prolonged fight.

be sure to put hp gears on either nathaniel or quarion. i only suggested nathaniel because of lvl4 vortex, because he can dispel the defense penalty the boss inflicts(not reliable since its a battle skill, can't be controlled when it is cast).

Complete noob here so take this with a metric ton of salt but I'm autoing Venom 8 with Fire Mc(100),Frurbath(100), Sigrid, Heks and Zhar'Loth at 90.

Started farming venom without leg gear and Zhar could be subbed for any other semi/full healer, tried to get as much defense as possible for Frur (Ice MC could also help).
Also my whole team have all skils maxed but I'd say the most important would be Heks having her ultimate maxed, a good defense on your tank and enough accuracy for Sigrid or another Attack Down hero to reliably help reduce the damage taken.

Positioning so that only your tank and the lowest hp hero take damage and it should be good enough to farm Venom 7 at least.

I'm looking to build a better Vortex team, see my pulled champs thus far.
Currently using Frurbath, Vicana, Jathalea, Vicarii, and either Eli or HExandra, and was thinking of swapping in Wild DPS to build Frurbath, Hex(?), Caspar, Tonalnin, and need a 3rd from Nedda, Bronwyn, or Thea.

My Poison team is good, and mostly built (though gear needs improvement) to do over 2 mil on Vortex 1, and approx 1 mil on Vortex 2, but was looking for a slightly less gear-intensive team to use and to have another team in the mix.

Alternatively, if you all think that I'm missing a better comp please let me know.

Eventually u will have to have multiple teams and will need to level up a lot more heroes. team synergy works better in this game and some of the rare heroes are basically highend epics and are easier to level up their skills since rare scrolls are easier to get than epic scrolls are

Usha deals out alot of damage quickly and her ultimate applies a frost debuff in a solid area which allows Sigrid to capitalize on her ultimate. Voresh pairs well as an ice hero and full map debuff. Each time an enemy dies while under a debuff sigrid gains ultimate up energy. Her description show her ability as single target but it actually targets all enemies under a debuff making her a goblin l'air clearing powerhouse

This is a f2p/low spender fire poison team for Battlefield 9 if anyone wants to try it. No legendary artifacts.

It is a little slow but 100% safe (with enough accuracy) and can be done on auto.

Adolphus and Fihrah are both good investments for f2p/low spenders in my opinion. The game pushes players towards a fire poison team compostion by giving us Horrus and Sigrid being so good. Getting a 5 person faction bonus will helper weaker accounts in clearing harder dungeons.

Liko is a completely f2p alternative to Fihrah that will use fewer scrolls, although I think Fihrah is more useful overall.

Like it’s usually 5ish and a legendary once you get a few days in by the time you’re hitting 50 or more. Hence why that’s really weird. If your 3 epics worked for a comp I’d say keep it but you’re basically running all rares with those pulls. And only tonalnan is any good of the 3.

You should have way more epics is the thing. You get a ton of dice and wyrmarrow before your reset period is up so I’m wondering if you missed quests or something

The MC is worth leveling in general as he is able to fill multiple roles with his elemental change ability. More so if you are F2P as he helps you to level one character less for other elemental teams you have.

He is good but not the best so I guess he will be replaced eventually but definitely useful from start to mid game. For F2P players he will likely be useful all the way unless their summon rolls are very good.

I'm torn between getting Voresh or Frurbath for the free Epic.

• My current Vortex team is Usha, Auster, Ice MC, Gillian and Eli (Attack boost helps a bit), and it makes me hit 10 mil damage on Diff 3.
• I also do have Dorkuraz and Rowena, and I'm thinking of replacing Eli with either of them, and getting Voresh as a healer replacement for Gillian (gonna miss those heals and Def Up tho). This gives me a 5 Ice Affiinity.

HOWEVER,

• I am considering getting Frurbath as a Tank/Healer, since I already have Errich, Tonalnan and Nedda/Follie for a Wild team.

I do think that Voresh helps more for Goblin Lair, current lineup for Lair is Auster, Sigrid, Usha, Ice MC and (oh no), Irina.

My question is whether I should focus on the Quality of the heroes (use as many Epic and the Legendary heroes as you can) or try and match types (as many of the same category like 5x fire hero and disregard that the hero is common).

Voresh heals is never enough for Vortex. same with Zhar'loth, his heals will never be enough for contents like vortex.
Go frurbath if you want to make the second team, you will need upto 3 teams anyway after your servers 30th day.
But if your choice is between Voresh and Zhar'loth. I would pick Zhar'loth. zhar'loth has more uses for me on content like feywild / trials. he can heal the whole party too. and Zhar'loth have the attack aura (24% in all battles).

Hey All. I will be using the epic chest deal to get an epic, but I am conflicted in what I want to choose. I want to mainly do well in Vortex, but I wouldn't mind a good hero for all content as well.

right now, I use Usha, Olgan, Nathanial, Rava and Vinyara for Vortex and that allows me to survive for a decently long time with attack penalties II's (Vinyara) and defense up 1's (Nathanial). I am aware Zhar'loth and Voresh are good pick ups, as well as Garius and Fur'bath. I just wondered with the heroes I have currently, is there an epic that would perhaps benefit me better than those 4 mentioned above? Thanks in advance.

Frost isn’t the best long term for tempest. So you will probably transiting away from it eventually. If not this season, then next

Scar is pretty meh unfortunately, he really needs some QoL buffs. I wouldn’t work on synergizing him.

Garius for most content, frur is better for tempest with his attack break and aoe heals.

Sigrid, you just want high accuracy to proc her attack breaks and heal debuffs.

Pvp you want someone else else to aoe debuff first, then go pure dps on her.

Yeah you can check whatever content you are fighting “information” and it’ll tell you what accuracy is required, generally you still want more accuracy then recommended though

Why is she only doing 11% of the damage in goblin lair 3.1? I thought she was supposed to one shot goblins but that's not happening.

I can clear 3.1 with a different squad. But with her I can't.

Horrus Eli Irina heksandra and then your choice. If you can pull Sigrid (rare) or Voresh/Zharloft (epic) you’ll be good to go for most content.

Sigrid is the #1 rare. For epic, it’s a toss up. You have the two of the best tanks, Garrius and Frurbath. Then damage which can be Zharloft and Voresh. Healer is Catherine, stun is Iola and Rava is recommended for any frost teams.

You need horrus at 100, two healers and the right positioning. Watch stew gaming videos on it bc positioning matters most for venom.

Horrus heksandra and fire MC, with the epic get Voresh and the last is up to you. Meggan for healing, Fitz sucks up all debuffs and Joyce has high damage but needs good gear to speed up her skills.

Horrus or frurbath / sigrid heksandra usha and either Garrius or Gloin. You’ll have two tanks which might be overkill but if you don’t have more dps units then you’ll need the tanks to survive.

im trying to find your sigrid but you probably reseted her level. you have an ok-general lineup. id probably just switch twitch or mc-fire to someone like adolphus for more survivability for content that needs you to survive. you might want to level a wild team for your vortex.
for grave of venom, horrus usually does a better job in tanking, frurbath can tank too but sometimes requires good equipments before he can tank. i was able to cheese it with frur+isolde on my case.

I didn't know horrus is better in that. I thot frurbath top most epic tank except the skeleton guy

horrus only perform better in soaking up the damage(grave of venom). he offers taunt/attack penalty too, but most boss are immune to the control.
frurbath is best for vortex, with his attack penalty and aoe heals. hes a better tank in grave of curse, ancient battlefield.
garius performs well as a tank too, works as a healer(reduces the need for another healer), but he lacks the debuff.

and Isolde she works as dps on my case(+ a debuffer).
i use Frurbath, Isolde, Heksandra, Sigrid, Adolphus(was using Meggan before replacing it for the 5-man affinity) on lvl9 grave of venom.

if you want it on auto, be sure to put some skill haste on your debuffer(Voresh) so he will cast his ultimate first before Sigrid does. you can go full DPS on Lethander too since he will gain energy whenever an enemy is killed.

prioritize sigrid as your dps, and have a lot of debuffers. problem is most of your debuffers are melee(olgan, frurbath, garrika)
you can manual it first, use your debuffer to inflict the debuff before going ham with sigrids ultimate.
i would suggest using
frurbath, garrika, irina, sigrid, fire(mc) for your goblins

and if you don't have cleanser, position your heroes 1 cell away from each other, and use shielder heroes. also apply attack penalty before the boss use her ulti.

I swapped to Frurbath. Moved Grover and Adolph to 18 and 18.5 and it went well.
I didn't realize Grover had ult steal too. Might be a good reason to grab Voresh from my epic chest.

He is pretty awesome!!!!!

Garius is an awesome healer/tank for Vortex if you stack him with defense. Easily healing for 40k/heal.
