Ok... I've managed to beat the Ooze with this. Give accu gear to Frurbath and Loris. Use accu + def food. Attack gear to MC (Ice). Place MC(Ice), Frurbath and Loris in the middle 1st row (in that order). Meggan behind Loris. Enna Left place in 3rd row (from the boss). That way Enna won't get hit by his 3rd attack. Use shield from MC and heal from Megan asap on your front 4 units. Enna right when you get 4 poison stacks. Meggan will recharge Enna. Both Frurbath and Loris can inflict attack penalty, use 1 of them right when attack lands (so the debuff continues for 2 attacks). Managed to kill him with 1 second left xd

Can some one please tell me how Lossenia deals more dmg than Auster? their multiplyers are worlds apart.

Ive read both of their kits -- I understand Lossenia comes with the +30% atkl buff for the team thats legit - she applies a lot of frost but dosnt take use of it herself

But having the frost buff is only useful, per se, if someone can use like a Usha or troglar. I ended up replacing lossenia w like a sigred or other dps. She's a great frost applier..but she's not performing well enough unless you have those units that need the frost to always be up when they attack

Sorry just saw this. If you have Enna, you could get sigrid but sigrid is kinda meh. Poison should be dench, eli, and corrin or horace. Idea is Dench spreads more poison, corrin or horace can do poison explosion, and Eli lays in DPS that works with bonuses from poison. Then its just horrus (or Fru, or another poison or fire tank, but Horrus is auto and awesome) and Heks.

Yes, for a while. End game with enough unlocks MC wont be used as much outside of Ice MC, or sometimes fire MC (because it is good dps)

But overall you won't need MC with enough unlocks later on in game. But for now, very useful.

Horrus and Heks as tank/healer combo

Hochadir, Usha, (Wilt or Vojeh)
Horace, Eli, and Dench when you get Dench

Fire and Ice MC fits in well.

Enna is useful for Fey, ooze, and fire boss.

Roll more dice, you've got a good start to several dps combos.

Note: Scharlach is what makes Summon teams work okay. Combo with Gaiolere, and its better. Unfortunately even with the BEST legendaries for summon, the summons tend to die really fast. Someone may be able to figure something out this season, but we couldn't last season. Nothing fixes the summons dies fast that I saw in the new characters.

Yes and no, its situational and really comes down to affinity.

A lot of us use quarion because catherine wasnt available last season, AND Quarion is a rare so easy/cheap to skill up.

youll replace follie with errich when you unlock him. past that you're set for a main team. If you unlock frurbath there are situations you would use him over ergander.

There is some RARE occasions where Horrus might be better than ergander but not really. Like utior with low gear and low levels he might be better.

Lorentheel with rally characters would make an excellent second team for you. You got some seriously good legendaries.

I’m not an expert of all of the characters, I was just trying to help you out. Look at the skills of the toons you have for one that dispels debuffs. That is what you need.

Key word is ‘dispel debuffs’ it’s not about offense, it’s about staying alive

Fitz is someone who dispells debuffs on Allies, yes, with his Ultimate

you won't be needing heksandra imo, unless somehow you have her skills leveled. altho vicuc heals 5% less than heksandra(base amount comparison), he does offer more utility and have bigger aoe. i don't find heksandras 'dispel 1 debuff on 1 target' reliable. oggok and vicuc does both.

Hello ! i started playing yesterday and after looking at my box for at least an hour, i can't make a decision on what to do, my team is able to clear fire dungeon 2 but i can reset anytime, i want to spend my currencies on a single all around team to progress further

• With the Dauntless heroes i got would it be possible to make now a Ivellios lightning/radiance team ? maybe with acilia as heal
• another possibility would be fire/poison with mc fire - Huldork - Horrus - Noteera ? - Heksandra ?
• i also have Lossenia, i leveled her to help me get some fire shards in the dungeon, could i make a team around her with what i have now ? as i understand it she's a good frost applier dps, but i'm not sure i can make advantage of the debuff with the frost heroes i currently have

your ice/necro team is already decent. altho isitarian seems weak damage-wise. deverick offer more utility(damage is good too). and you probably would need a healer at one point.

at one point tho you will still need a secondary team to progress your main team.
i don't think you have the necessary heroes to build a decent dauntless team. you have good necro-ice heroes, and poison-fire heroes too.
you can always use 3-man affinity early-mid game. then complete the 5-man affinity team when you're able to level your 5-man affinity psychicore.

You need more unlocks. Hochadir Usha Loss Wilt and heks for now. Wilt you'll replace with Dork, and Usha can be replaced with Vidi or Voresh eventually too. Dork is a beast, and combos with Loss well. Other Leggo frost characters are obviouslly good but Im just listing the epics and rares as theyre easier to unlock.

Situational.

Fru applies Attack down which is needed for some bosses, and does well in Fey boss. Horrus takes damage better than Fru and taunts. Both are good and you will use both eventually.

Hvitar is mostly a PVP SS tier character. She works really well for PVE though.

Try horrus, heks, Hvitar, usha, and rowena and you can even swap out usha for ice MC.

Poison youre missing some key components, but dench and horace pair well, but you really want another poison character to work with like eli that interacts with poison debuffs.

Jalthea and Corrin with dench you would want to test. Jalthea and Corrin may not work together well. Corrin with Dench works. Youre missing Eli for DPS there.

Questa you will use as your tank/healer for Goblin with 4 dps.

Auster, Hochadir, Usha is likely your strongest team with Ice MC right now. If you get Dork, Vidi, Rowena, Rava or Voresh ice will your main team. Just use heks for heals.

Your dauntless team could work out well with sutha with more unlocks. You could just suck it up for now and run Lit MC, Irina, and Sutha.

Ice all you got is basically usha and wilt or sovellis and sovellis is underwhelming. Pair with Ice MC. A lit team might be better than this option though, but youd at least have Ice MC for shields while doing dps.

Yea tbh Id level the ice team as well. You'll get errich automatically later to go with your Wild team, and your ice team is basically just missing 1 more character.

nope Lorentheel is a supportive-rally hero. you are not using any rally unit. Olgan too is a 'frost' hero. he is more of a frost applier, a budget-hochadir, and you're not using any frost hero(like Usha). you can test out Lethander, he seems good in goblin/pve content.

the inflicting mechanics of the defense penalty debuff was nerfed recently. on cbt2, multi-tick ultimates have multiple opportunity to apply the debuff, which was now nerfed to applying it only once regardless if the ultimate is doing multitick. You could still use on hero like Vinyara/Lossena tho.
frost team is indeed strong, but sadly ice-necro lineup lacks a strong healer, unless you have the legendary necro healer, Torrin.

the game's only been out for a week. the meta will consistently keep changing until peeps manage to find different unit combos. there's also the thing called buffs and nerfs which would change the meta regardless

You have:

A wild team with Rhash, Nedda, fire MC. You will auto unlock Errich later, and replace nedda. Tonalnan is also good here.

A poison team with Jalthea or Horace, Dench, and Eli. Some people are testing on how much Horace and Jalthea screw with eachother.

You have part of a frost team with Usha and Wilt. No real anchors for this, but you could run those two with Ice MC.

Heks and Horrus for Healer and Tank.

Youre close on a few other team choices but those three are basically what youve got the best/closest to. Id personally tell you run Wild and Frost, but poison could work too if you like it. Rhash is an excellent engine for Errich and Tonalnan if you can be patient till Errich auto unlocks

Usha, Vidi, Ice MC, and when you unlock more Frost characters you can swap them in.

Horrus still for tank, but use Torrin for heals (or just use Heks). You dont have any good frost or necro tanks unlocked, BUT - Forbit sucks, but he could be used as your tank if you really felt you needed 5 affinity (you don't)

Others:

You almost have a poison team, but your fire team should do nicely.

Lighning/Radiance you don't have anything core for DPS to make it work yet, but if you don't want to use Horrus with Heks, you can use Acilia with Quarion as your tank and healer combo.

Main thing is aim for at least 3 affinity with your DPS. 3 random DPS in lightning and Radiance Epic+ could work fine with Acilia and Quarion, but wouldn't be like as good as getting some other options to work.

Basically you have the bones for several setups, but not everything you'd want or need yet.

You could put together an annoying PVP defense team with Acilia, Quarion, Ogguk, Torrin, and Donella. You do not have to level pvp characters outside of skill scrolls if you find something you like.

Fire MC, Horrus, Heks are your strongest setup for now. you don't really have much else yet. Irina wouldn't be bad, and just whatever else that is a DPS (Not defense, check support skills that are AOE) can work for a while. You'll reset everything from Fire MC, Horrus, and Heks before that event expires (if it has not already) and then post here for more advice.

Always skill haste. However you run into diminishing returns after 30/40 iirc.

Then a mix of crit and SOME attack speed. Attack speed also suffers from diminishing returns IIRC. Attack speed is good, but youll see more overall dps from some crit. BUT - do not sacrifice much, if at all attack for Crit or attack speed.

The other good combos youre missing core characters for - BUT - youre close on a few. Goblin you likely want to use Vidi, Voresh, Ice MC with Ulti turned off, Ergander, and Iola. The rest you can reset for now. Iola SHOULD be okay for Goblin but wont be too useful elsewhere. Keep gettting more unlocks, youre close to more combos

No.

Haste you want to click on the stat window and play around with different amounts. Like over 30 and 40 you get less seconds off per amount of skill haste. Like 30-40ish was the sweet spot for me last season, but I think end game I was over 40 in some builds.

Crit you have to do the math - is 3% crit worth 200 attack? You also want to consider that longer fights attack balanced with crit wins out, and shorter fights crit MAY win out due to luck. But overall focus Attack so its reliable.

Ooze just a 20 or 25 resistance food should be enough with the right comp strategy.

If you follow what I put in my guide, you should be able to beat it with 2 eyes with decent enough gear, or 3 eyes with average gear.

I'm gonna try testing a different solution soon with like 3 healers and no enna.

Keep with what you have for now with the poison team and see what else gets unlocked. Review what dench does and how he interacts with Horace. You basically have parts of several builds.

You could try philto, Martina, the dude on the horse I can’t remember the name of, and the elf that isn’t Alvis I can’t remember the name of, and swap in alvis with the other elf or martina. You have the best healer legendary to put in. It miiight work but it just won’t be too consistent

Catherine and Garius have been my greatest help untill now. But with a fire legendary and reading about other fire heroes being great assets like horrus. I have to switch affinity?

Are reset events a regular thing? Is affinity really important? Are levels important or can I upgrade more heroes to lower level to have more diversity? Is it a waste to upgrade heroes to capped level?

Tharivol is a dauntless hero, you would usually team him up with other dauntless. same with Jathalea, she deals more damage if you have prior poisons applied on the target. Jathalea offers a unique mechanic in the game tho, resurrection prevention. so it could be good in pvp/feymeander/pillars.

You auto afk the entire fight. Stew figured this out last season. You can even do it with the common radiance healer.

Basically you have to cleanse the fire stacks before her ulti goes off, be immune to debuffs so there is less fire stacks, attack down the boss before her ulti goes off, or have high enough shields before her ulti goes off to absorb the damage.

Ice DPS: Auster, Dork, Usha or Rava. Mix in Ice MC when you need him replacing usha or rava. Always use Auster and Dork.

Fire DPS: Not great: Tonalnan, Fire MC, Nedda. Dane is a good DPS, but you want at least two wild characters working together. When you unlock Errich, Nedda Tonalnan, and Errich will be a good wild team.

Poison DPS: Horace, Dench, Eli. You can try shink instead of Eli but the damage buff from Eli is usually important.

You don't have what you need for rally/radiance, and your lightning options are kinda bad unfortunately.

Try vidi over Pargu. He got nerfed last season so a lot of info you see about him is outdated. You should be okay with just Usha, Auster, and ice MC, vidi should be more damage if you swap him with Ice MC.

Tanking and healing youre kinda stuck with horrus and heks for best choices right now.

Felicity, nedda, follie should be able to burn down bosses fast though. Dane is always nice as a conditional swap due to his abilities.

Update since you and I talked gear last night.

I found my first thing to be mad at the devs for this season: They took Resistance out of the Defensive grave of curse gear and put it in the rot gear with accuracy.

So we will need to run Rot to get resistance gear to beat fey boss.

guys is Ergander a better overall tank than Horrus?

So youve basically got a lot of REALLY good support characters and none of the really core DPS characters, so you may suffer for a while.

I think what youre doing with Dench, Eli, Sigrid or whatever her name is, is gonna be your best bet for now. I dont think Usha and Wilt will be better than that.

I scored REALLY low on vortex for a whiiiile in Season 0 till I got more unlocks that work well for it.

Ergander does attack down while being hit, heals himself, and has his ulti which saves him a lot. He also does decent damage.

Horrus just can absorb damage really well.

Both are really good tanks for the right boss basically. Youll likely use ergander overall more, but you may need Horrus for something later. You're safe to switch to Ergander to replace horrus.

There are some busted legendary artifacts. Rhash is an engine for Errich and Tonalnan really, you just want to skill scroll him up and he’s fine as is. You’ll get more mileage out of the really broken legendary artifacts

Usha auster vidi. Replace vidi with ice mc when you need shields or when you get a better frost character. Debateable using the legendary ice tank or horrus, likely use the ice tank

Note: vidi’s captain skill sometimes outdoes what usha can do by what he gives others, so you may replace usha at times with another ice character

I think torrin is one of the best necro healers. lorentheel is amazing for rally teams. ergander is a great poison tank, rhash is a great fire dps, etc etc

your good units don't focus on 1 group of affinity

but u have 3 very good fire unit: horrus, fire main character, huldork

so they can be the base

then add Premtsa to the team

u need a healer

there is a good free one: heksandra

so u can use: horrus, fire main character, huldork, heksandra

3 of them are enough

so u can even remove main character

u have 3 good units for the 2 slot left: premtsa, Garett, Voresh

i'm not sure how well they work together so u might try them
