Ice MC actually does a lot of damage. Not quite as much as fire of course since it's ult is a shield instead of damage, but generally Ice MC is considered the best element of MC overall.

I think I mentioned before, this early in the game a 5-elemental synergy won't be as big a deal. I think for now you should roll with Ergander + Torrin +3 dps of your choice, but these other things are stuff to consider when you start getting more heroes and get closer to the late-game.

You will almost certainly want to have at least 3 different full teams later on, as you'll need 2 to farm elemental crystals efficiently for those 2, and a third in Tower of Trials much later on.

And you may likely want additional "extras" on top of your 3 full teams, for slight flexibility for specific fights, like not needing a tank or healer in goblin farming.

it was a factor in cbt2. but sadly on season 1, they removed the base/default 15% elemental damage on a 5-man affinity bonus

Oh wow I didn't even notice they took away the 15%, so yeah, 5-element literally does nothing now until you start to get the upgrades in Elemental Affinity? Lmao that's silly.

There is still the issue that the 3-element bonus only applies to those of the applicable element, so having 5-element synergy helps all 5 with the 3-synergy bonus, rather than leaving up to 2 heroes out of it entirely

No. Like if you have 3 ice and 2 fire in your team, the 3 ice are getting the bonus and the 2 fire aren't. I thought this wasn't how it worked back in CBT1 but it does seem to be how it works CBT2 and currently.

Eli got the 18% attack aura, he's strong too with his aoe. Sigrid is strong too, her ulti is conditional which you need to look out for, as it only spreads the damage when your enemies have debuffs.

Are you attached to replacing Noteera? She's quite good single target DPS and as a poison hero has extra synergy with Eli, who is also a great poison rare.

If you're goblin farming she might seem like a weak link but she's very good at some things such as single target boss fights, diving back line priority targets, and as mentioned the fact that she poisons adds synergy with eli.

I think its okish to use Dauntless heroes outside of their 'clique' group. And dauntless heroes tend to lack aoe.

Healer = Heksandra's skill is easier to rankup, since she is only a rare, Vicuc offers great utility with his debuff, and when condition is right he heal more than Heksandra. I would probably just use Vicuc.

• 1 = your preference, you can probably bring Garret, Martina, or Eli/Sigrid(i cant see if you have them, since your rare heroes stop at gulal)

I'm not 100%. I don't remember Eches too well but I feel like I personally would use a skilled Noteera over an unskilled Eches for sure. So how are your skill scrolls looking? That's one of the really great things about rare heroes, until you get to a point where you just have enough legendary and epic heroes to not even need to look at the rares anymore.

Good idea to save your scrolls a little bit til you know who's good and who's not, and I don't think anyone knows the new heroes well enough to tell you who's good in those, but I can assure you that for old heroes, who are rares, Noteera is a good one. I'd still agree that Eli is generally better though if you don't have enough rare scrolls for like, Heksandra and then both of them

Correct. Accuracy only matters for applying debuffs. Specific substats are nice, but you're likely gonna be farming higher tiers of equipment soon anyway so I wouldn't worry too much about getting perfect rare gear. Eventually when you're at legendary gear, you can upgrade a legendary piece to just level 4 to see what all substats it'll have, before deciding whether you want to upgrade it fully to increase all stats on it.

Also flat substats are better than %-based substats at lower levels, while higher levels it goes the other way around. So like on rare gloves you'd rather have ATK over ATK%, but on epic gloves you'd rather have ATK% over ATK

The %chance to apply a debuff (poison included) is a separate roll from the accuracy/resistance issue. If you have a 100% chance, that's just the proc chance, but the debuff can still be resisted if you don't have enough accuracy to overcome the target's resistance.

TBH I don't know Sigrid and Lorarii very well, but looking at their kits I'd say Eli>Sigrid>Lorari, and Sigrid's value is mostly for her attack penalty and healing prohibition, which are both great debuffs to have in some big fights later on

Eli always slaps, while Sigrid might be better than Eli only for the fights in which you really need healing prohibition and attack penalty

Hysteria Pan Flute it doesnt say atk% hence its probably a final damage multiplier, so i think its better when compared to Flute of the King, as the latter only increases ultimate damage and the former increases damage of basic attacks, battle skill and ultimate.

You can if you want. The lightning and fire legs look pretty good to me, but elemental synergy is a big help in this game. The necro legendary I wouldn't mess with just because I'm not convinced "summon" units will ever be very good again. Looking at your rares, you should also invest into meggan for that ice team I mentioned, as you can put her in instead of Dorkuraz for harder fights like Green Dragon and Fey Meander boss, which is what I just did to beat both. For secondary teams I'd recommend maybe a fire/poison sustain comp using fire MC, Frurbath, Horrus, Heksandra, and your fire legendary. I can't really make a good lightning/radiant suggestion because I haven't played radiant heroes enough and don't see enough good stuff in your lightning heroes., but if you were to get Catherine (epic radiant healer), then her + Lydia + your lightning Legendary +Schaltar (epic lightning dauntless hero) and Shagrol (epic lightning dauntless hero) would be a good start for a team too.

Garius does more all around and over the course of a long fight will eventually be better with his stacking passive, but at a baseline, Dallbam is a tankier tank.

I mean it looks like a pretty well-built team to me. Obviously doesn't have much cleanse, as I think only Heks in that lineup can do it. Try check your gear that you're not wearing and see if you can stack more resistance on all your characters to simply not have them affected by the poison in the first place.

For some quick and easy resistance (effectively) you can try replacing fire MC with Fihrah. And maybe replace Sigrid with Garian for better sustain if that doesn't work

Level is part of the resistance/accuracy calculation so I'm not sure, but I think maybe 60 or so resistance probably keeps the poison off pretty reliably and then your main concern is the boss's bonus damage stacks

Fihrah can give your whole team +40 resistance with an aura, then you could maybe use like a +20 resistance food

Cheese Cake is +25 resistance. Aquitaine Yoghurt is +20 resistance (and +20 accuracy which shouldn't be that useful on this fight since applying debuffs ends up buffing the boss anyway)

These might not all be correct, but the recipe book posted around here somewhere that I made a copy of, says 2 goat milk + 2 milk, or 2 goat milk + 2 yak milk, or 3 goat milk, or 3 yak milk, or 2 goat 1 yak, or 2 yak 1 goat

I'd be most confident that the 2 goat 2 yak definitely works, some of the others might end up making snowland cheese

TBH I haven't used him but he looks quite good to me.

He's probably actually a better healer than your Heksandra, but having 2 healers is fine, lots of fights will enjoy that much sustainability.

And definitely a better sheilder than Irina, and you were already using double support anyway, but with Irina losing out on elemental synergy bonus

Fey boss poison. Do not worry about line up so much. Add any healers you have with your MC. Must get resistance high enough. With 3-4 healers you can probably do 50 res for all. I did 70-80 res all (after using 25 res cheese cake)

Get all your gear that has res on should be easy to get each piece of gear with about 10 res avg.. so x4 40 res right there plus cheese cake = 65 res. Easy day

Dorkuraz is a good 'range-dps' that synergizes well with your Auster, you could try him out. Rava is another good frost applier. Rowena is like a budget Auster with her kit.
I'd always recommend Voresh as a strong dps, utility, sub-healer hero.

Eli isn't mandatory to be center back. Depends on each battle.

Sadly you don't have any other aura bearer, I'd advice to test in the dummy but to be honest I don't see another option on your units for now

Plus you have one of the best tanks for fire

So unless you get a better aura bearer you could exchange Eli for another poison/fire

They were pretty straightforward in terms of ranking. Dont deal dmg = 1 in goblin camp, something like that. Its a basic view of things

If you go for Heksandra, either change MC(Fire) or Letalis

Like others have said, Eli is a strong dps, only downside is that his ultimate is the 3cell-linear skill(won't cast it if there are no enemies inside that area).
Questa is one of the hero that might interest you, she is strong for PVP.

If it is i think you can bring Martina and Hegio as DPS, so if you switch between Lightning or Ice on MC, you will still get 3-affinity bonus. Problem with this lineup is how you will tackle gear dungeons(grave of venom, curse, rot)

another option is to use

Ghul'end, Zhar'loth, MC(Fire-ice), Horrus, Sifris(you have two subhealers so she should be fine, if you dont like her, use Heksandra instead)

Depends. you want at least 3 affinity. The Ice characters have the most amount of choices in the rare category for aoe. Wilt will work, I like Irina in lightning, but wilt can combo with Vojeh. Use MC Ice, and you can turn off their Ultimate if you have another healer resource.

Really I'd wanna see your epics/leggos lineup to see what you can anchor with (if any)

I can't figure out how to beat the flame domain boss, or that fae level 5 boss.
They stack debuffs on party then damage based on all of those stacks.

Thankfully we have free resets right now because I just tried Fitz, and his ultimate takes longer than the bosses and he is dying anyways with almost 30,000 health

I thought he would be a very important hero to have for certain situations, but in these two boss fights, nope. Not unless someone else can totally cleanse a 20 stack and I make his ultimate energy cost lower

All you need to do is apply attack down before her ulti goes off, or cleanse all of the burn stacks before her ulti goes off, and have enough of a rotation between 1-2 characters to do so every rotation. You can do this with Enna and another character until you have enough skill haste on enna to do it every round with just her. You don't even need a tank if you can clear the first two groups of enemies without a tank.

You can even replace enna with someone who makes you immune to debuffs for a time on that, but enna is usually easiest to summon.

Dont over complicate things with gear and resists. Resists will matter later levels. Play the mechanics and use positioning to take the least amount of skill damage from bosses to weaker more important roles.

Dork is a house. Keep him. He pairs with Usha really well, same with Wilt.

If you can get Eli unlocked, he pairs well with dench, but you could try shink with Dench to do a poison combo.

Im shocked you dont have a leggo yet but its coming.

Horrus is your best tank, pairs with heksandra well.

Enna is useful for now for fey and ooze boss.

You're getting there on a few combos, and if you get a lucky leggo pull or a few more solid epic pulls you have some other components.

Right now poison and frost are the easiest teams to build without a lot of epics/leggos. Concept is have at least two poison or frost AOE characters to use together with MC ice or fire to do damage all with elemental synergy (So Fire/Poison, Ice/Necro), and then have a tank and a healer.

Rally is still bad this season because its too unpredicatable to sync without the right characters, Dauntless is okay to really powerful with the right unlocks in the epic category. Wild is fine, with some of the right combos. You will unlock Errich, hes one of the right combos.

Outside of Goblin, you most of the time need a healer and tank, sometimes you can swap a melee dps or run all ranged DPS and drop the tank. You either want a tank that can taunt and take punishment (Horrus) or a tank that can at least do attack down to mitigate what bosses do.

You want at least 3 affinity on your DPS for more damage. Doesn't matter what combo you use for the 3 affinity damage.

I have the luck of a bald man winning a comb, most of last season I ran without leggos until I finally unlocked a useful one. Just look for sync with your epics and rares.

Horrus And Frubath are your best tanks. Frubath is useful because of attack down being needed for Fire boss. Heks is your best healer.

Your DPS combos are:

Vidi, Usha, Rowena (Sovellis is awful, FYI)

Rhash is good when comboed with Tonalnan or Errich or both. I'd damage test Rhash combo'ed with Journ vs Follie single target, see who wins out. Could be useful for bosses but slow vs groups with Follie.

Garett likely sucks and kills himself, however he could pair with Shargol and Schaltar like Sutha does well.

You're unfortunately missing like ONE key component to some other combos. Just be patient, theyll show up eventually. But Rhash was a good pickup, he's strong with Errich and some other Wild characters that build stacks from other characters using wild.

Your best call is to probably use a fire/posion team while working up an Ice team to help clear fire dungeon.

TBH fire MC and like your two fire leggos could be enough for a while.

Enna yes, but only for Fire Boss, Fey Boss, and Ooze. She's useful for bosses until endgame. Irina is fine for another DPS for Goblin. Shes useful in applying attack penalty though for some bosses. You could de-level her for now.

Basically you want to combo poison, frost, wild, or dauntless with 2-3 DPS characters and use a tank and a healer. If you have two strong DPS that sync, you can use another DPS support style character as your third DPS as long as its the same elemental synergy.

Lorentheel, Thelendor, Martina, Quarion. Find something to tank - likely Volthug or Lydia. You could also run hegio and just be all melee with quarion as a healer. It'll be chaos, but as long as you time everyone around Lorentheel's Ulimtate, they should do crazy damage.

If you unlock Philto it could be really ugly damage.

Lorentheel is the key to making rally teams work. Without him its too irregular to time.

Goblin runs differently than anything else in the game. Its mostly about AOE damage and whatever helps keep the goblins off the casters or heals you. Questa is literally the best option for tank/heals in the game in goblin.

Yea so the Ice MC ulti takes up a timing slot, so you miss some dps.

Goblin runs really weird, and sometimes random stuff happens with aggro. Also run a 10% attack buff, it helps.

I absolutely screwed up last season and leveled a LOT of stuff that sucked, and I still did okay. You'll always catch up even if you change your mind.

Main thing is at least spend 250 at bread each day, the 50 cost, and the 2 100 cost. The 200 cost for bread is a bit high and only if you have a ton left over. Spend the rest at orange dice, and then scrolls later on when youre sure on your teams.

Irma is an alternative tank for this lineup, i don't know tho how good she will be when it comes to tanking graves(i.e. venom), but she excels in dealing damage as a tank.

If you need more Heal bring in Quarion, that still depends on who you wanted remove, Hegio or Martina. I hate playing against a Hegio more in pvp, so that could probably hint.

Vidimir is good if his ultimate can bounce. thats probably why he's rated low because against bosses, hes going to be a weak damage dealer. Usha has been popular since cbt, and people usually needs a 'frost applier', he fails at that regard because his ultimate removes the 'frost' applied on your enemies once his ultimate hits. He have an attack aura tho which could be nice early on. Also he is an essential hero for f2p players in completing higher level of fey meander.

I was gonna suggest to bring Zhar'loth in for the heals, but i know his healing won't be enough, so just bring in Heksandra as your healer.

Evania(50% chance on gaining a rally, and when she gains, there is a 75% chance she will give a rally to a random ally)
Wellby is also an option(50% chance to give rally on any of the other 4 heroes)

on lightning more than half is dauntless. only what comes to mind (if you only want radiance/lightning heroes) is Grover.
Grover should be really good in grave of curse.

no need to go for 5 element for now, you still need a healer in your lineup. losena is a stronger version of rava. ripekas is a sub-dps debuffer(a good backline disrupter if your enemies are positioned wrongly in pvp)

i never said it was easy, its that you having rolled the right heroes combination make your run easier. ooze was designed to be weaker as the day progress. in cbt2 the more you challenge it every day, the weaker it gets, and there was a stone on lvl10 fey meander that weakens it too.

his heals is based on his def, so you might wanna amp that up, you might want to change some gears later in the game when he dies quickly on some dungeons, he also need some accuracy to inflict his attack down debuff. martina could be an option to you, again if you really want to progress into the game with a rally team.

Try:

Acilia, Lorentheel, Martina, Gitouna and whatever you want for heals (You want to get Quarion unlocked, hes rare)

Your fire team is also really close.

Auster is good but you usually want to aim for core necessities - healer, or something youre missing from a combo.

If you're spending $ just do some more orange rolls and see who else pops up. Or just be patient, more options will pop up.

Trolgar and Eurion are actually REALLY strong, you just dont have any other core frost/ice characters to go with, besides Vidi, and hes really more like B rank and only because he has damage % leadership skill. Your biggest issue is lack of heals in 5 affinity. You can just run 3 affinity and run Heks tho and do fine.

Yea if you have money to spend, feel free to roll now or later, its nice to fill out some other teams. You'll always want two teams: One team to farm the other affinities' dungeon.

So a fire/poison team or a lightning/radiance team is in your future.

Keep in mind its mostly attack %, then crit, then health for DPS. There's other ways to do crit damage builds and etc.

Once you unlock items with skill haste, then its hit certain levels of skill haste mixed in before or after crit.

Healers its all defense and health and resistance

Tanks its all defense, health, resistance, and accuracy for attack down debuffs.

Youll want some accuracy gear later on to apply debuffs.

Posion teams make use of enlightenment but there isnt a huge difference between enlightenment and attack on a lot of the heroes.

Auster, Torrin, Horrus, Dane, and you can switch between Fire or Ice on MC. that should be enough for pve. if you want to tackle higher level dungeons, you might need to either use 2-tanks or 2 healers depending on what you need. you can use Usha to 'tank' early level content. but she will not be enough for higher level dungeons/content you want to tackle.

frost heroes are good tho for goblin farm. Usha, Wilt, Auster, Vidimir.
An alternative is to use rally heroes for goblin farming, if you ever decided to build a secondary team, you have good rally heroes(martina, huberg, hegio) and just bring someone that could tank and a healer(on your case you only have quarion as your healer).

Lorentheel + whoever does rally damage. Lorentheel gives attack up and rally. The problem with rally is rally is only good when ultis go off with rally active. Lorentheel is the only character in the game that allows that to happen. Otherwise a bunch of support dps will out damage rally. I tried really hard with making alvis work last season in trials and it just didn’t work

Fire Boss Lineup would look something like:
Fru (tank)
Enna + Heks (Dispel and Healer)
Vidi/Rowena + Ice MC?

You can rotate fru’s attack down and enna’s cleanse right before every boss Ulti so it does less damage.

If you level fru’s ulti to max you can just use Fru’s ulti, just start it first round at 50% of the bosses ulti energy and it will auto rotate.

Remember to put like 30+ accuracy on Fru for 3.

Rare blue lightning healer. She’s replaceable with something that makes you immune to debuffs. Unfortunately that’s the issue with that boss. Otherwise stacking high resistance is your only option

Like we had this issue last season with fey boss. Like we had to stack to 70/100 res and use that spread and use enna or ice MC with another healer, like there was basically a formula we were using with very little options. The poison was harder to cleanse last season

There is more shielder options this season, but you need high damage or the poison debuffs end up eating through it all

only one I got is Fitz, I am using him, but even without the debuffs his damage is insanely high. Got my Heroes all lvl 70, all equipment on lvl 12 with not to bad stats and using multiple pieces for the extra benefit. He still pretty much kills me in close to a minute, and with me doing only around 80K Damage out of his 900K. Literally even without the poison stacks hes straight up to strong for me. I do get you arent necessarily supposed to be able to deal with him before hes weakened by the stones, but as it is possible, I wonder what I am doing wrong to be that far off ...
