I was using purple gear for 200 resist, chest piece with a main stat resist, a few sub stats elsewhere and then food

this is another horrus set up that works (I have no idea how though) Dane (fire cultist guy) deals alot of damage, and applies attack I penalties to the boss and both orbs fairly regularly, it helps keep the damage down alot. My healer also has the epic artifact that increases healing when party member hp is low (it makes sense because he doesnt really do damage, or apply debuffs), which originally helped me just barely slide through phase 9 with this kind of set up. Credit to fonsly in my alliance discord

basically a constant att down spam on the boss to mitigate the def down

Both are pretty good rare heroes in general but I think for that particular fight, Noteera is better simply because she can switch all her focus to a golem granting invuln.

Lvl 30. I also agree with MC, Horrus, Quarion, Tonalnan, and Nedda. Then when you unlock errich swap out the MC for him for boss fights, and swap out Nedda for him in the rest of content.

The poison ice team the game gives you can clear green drake with some effort, and can take you all the way to purple drake. In theory it can beat purple drake. But you need like lvl 100 all epic+ gear to do it.

i would have ditch that rare ice skely tbh, just use
MC(Ice), Usha, Hvitar, Heksandra, Dane
then switch to Horrus, MC(Fire), Dane, Heksandra, Hvitar if your Usha can't tank further content. you have Dallbam to tank too, but again Horrus does better when it comes to tanking. Dane is a good epic hero because of his debuffs/attack down/healing prohibition. Youll find more on mid-late stages that you need heroes with utility abilities like Dane, Iola (on your lightning epic is nice too), Irina(rare dps-attack down 2)

a decent lineup imho, if you want to level a new hero, you could always farm the goblin. usha dane, fire mc, hvitar are nice hero to farm that. and if you fail on a stage, try changing positioning, changing equipments, or level your tank or your strongest dps. if you need a better tank just level horrus. usha can be geared as a tank, but she dont have damage mitigation like other heroes(she have a weak shield).

you should have no problem getting most of the rewards with this lineup until the difficulty increases. which you might need to switch to a wild lineup. but still you will use frurbath(build def) because of his heals

7 minutes is a very long time for that fight its not suppoed to go forever despite the 1 hour timer. im doing 10M damage in 6 minutes. You need to focus more on how you can increase your DPS rather than healing

Stack crit chance to 80% (passive skill gives 20% so 80 will max you) then stack attack and crit damage. Best place for crit damage is implicit on gloves and runes. Should look for atk % implicit on body armor. Run two pieces of equipment from crit rate leggo gear and 2 from attack speed leggo gear.

If you can get the crit rate without using the set bonus from crit rate gear, I would recommend doing so. In that scenario run 3 piece attack speed set. Will raise damage against bosses especially if you can get ~100 enlightenment too.

In my case corrin is just there to ensure I stack as many poison stacks as possible. Lothair does 65% of my actual damage.

Lothair hits for between 550-850k on his ultimate depending on number of poison stacks

I have a lot to post, I hope it wont come across as spamming. I just want to give a complete picture and my thought process. Hopefully someone can help me out. I will be posting a lot of content from here:

These are two photos of my heroes line up. There are some I need to level higher like Horrus. And I was told that fire lizard lady is really good for single target dps, so I will put levels into her also.

These are the artifacts, I have. It isnt much. I think there are some more basic ones I can pick up, like the deck of cards. I dont know if that will do anything for me. I was told the mirror was very good. I will get it on my next opportunity.

I can clear Grave of Vipers? The Harpy one, up to 5. But for every other dungeon in game I cannot even beat level 4. So virtually all of my gear is attack gear. I have some HP/DEF geat from the free ores you get throughout the story.

This is my lineup for tempest. I should probably swap Hek for divine healer guy. But he doesnt heal as good as hek. But if I get him to 90, that will give me an extra 15% attack. Also I would prefer not to use Livia, the Rare fire girl I have, but she dispells buffs. The tempest dragon keeps putting stacks of healing on himself and the only way I can stop it is by dispelling with Livia, otherwise he heals right through all the damage I deal. People in the main chat have argued with me that he only heals once he comes down and consumes the remaining little dragons but that is absolutely not the case for me. I dont have a tank in this line up, but I do too little dps as it is. The problem is I cant kill the little dragons fast enough.

The ice domain right now is the worst. I cannot get all 5 heroes through to the boss room. The trash mobs take out my DPS. Iola makes it through (shes like my favorite Hero right now), and even manages to do decent damage by herself. But the boss puts up a massive shield. Do I have to blow through it or can I dispell it with Brody? Using Brody is my plan for grave of curses but I would need to get him to 90.

Someone gave me tips for Flame domain previously. That helped me get through the 70s portion. I use Enna to dispell the flame stacks. As suggested I put as much spell haste on her as I can. I dont think I can get it higher than 46. And I have Hek as a back up healer. Eurion and MC both pop shields. When all are working I take next to no damage. For the first I did I managed to get through 3 of the Boss's turns, but by the 4th Enna just doesn't get her dispel back in time (like a half second short) and the boss blows up 3 people instantly. It was suggested to stack defense gear on Enna so she heals more, but I am not sure it will help heal through the mass explosion. In my best run somehow hek and Eurion survived through several explosions after the rest of the team died. I think it was because heck was behind him. Should I just stack them all behind Eurion? Another thing I noticed, the skill bar under her HP goes at a steady rate, like at ever other encounter I've seen. But then speeds up right before she does her flame burst.

So basically I have ideas on what to do. But it just seems rediculous that the build is so hard for the main story. I understand once you hit end game it is important to do gear optimization. But why am I hitting a wall at level 90? Of coarse I can optimize my teams even better, but it will take me a week to level the appropriate heroes to 90. Is it supposed to be like that? From talking to others it sounds like they did not have as much trouble with this content. Did they just have all legendries and blew threw this content?

@tribal pawn The best move would be to do the fire dungeon t4 enough times to 5 star your fire team. Then level fire team to 100 to tackle ice dungeons. You might be better off on the fire dungeon if you drop the two lightning characters for Sifris and noteera. That should give you enough DPS to get through t4 of those dungeons.

Yeah that mirror is a great healer artifact for heksandra and other healers.

I've found in some dungeons it's more important to brute damage your way through it, rather than try and out heal it. This is how I tackle grave of rot and grave of curse.

Brody can dispell the frost lady shield, he just needs to have high enough accuracy

Thanks. I am getting so close with Flame T4. Today Enna is getting her cleanse just in time. I didn't change anything as far as I can tell. Not sure why it works today but didn't yesterday. She doesn't blow up my team anymore but I am lacking the DPS. I used the lightning beef stick and it gets me so close. I just need a fraction more dps. Maybe I can fit a different gem or try to speed up MC's basic ice attack.

Is there a better food boost than lighting beef stick?

that could also work, but most units IMO will get better life out of HP than Defense. And +5% attack is usually better than +5% of a specific damage

if your lacking survivability, switch MC to Ice. if you want the full 5 elemental affinity bonus, im not sure if you have Quarion(if you dont then use the Imperial Warrior Healer)

Ice/Poison - MC(Ice), Horrus, Dorkuraz, Heksandra, Dane
if you lack damage, switch MC to Fire, you still have the 3 affinity bonus. If you want the full 5 affinity bonus, then use Usha as a tank, and switch Dane with Vidimir

Eches is nice on some situation, Vidimir paired with Usha, and Dorkuraz are good for goblin farm. but Vidimir weakens against singular boss fights(no targets to bounce his ice ball). Dane is one of those good epics that deals nice damage, has utility-debuffs.

Ditch the lightning/necro team for now.

If you use him, place him somewhere in the middle, and right behind your tank, to maximize the odds of being able to catch things in the ult range. When people put him far on one side I can just place my team in such a way that he might never ult, or gets just 1 off on 1 target right before he dies.

oh i assumed that poison would be a good choice for goblin farming because Corrins spreads poison and has good aoe coverage between Noteera, Jathalea and the purple epic who name I forgot. My main team is the rally team centering on Martina but I couldn't get 3 star even though my heroes are 20 levels ahead of the goblins I fight, hence why I wanted to try a second team. Here's are my other heroes:

out of the 4, you could still use Dorkuraz and Usha on some content(boss fights, vortex). So i would probably invest skill scroll on those two.
Wilt is only there to apply Frost(hence, you only need him at two stars)
Vidimir is mediocre in boss fights(against 1 target where his ultimate doesn't bounce).

For me I consider Quarion as situational healer depends on quest or event or 5 affinity run. I use Heksandra as main tho.

At one point i was using Imperial Warrior(Common Healer) on Venom7, then as i progress further, at Venom 9, since i was getting constant Def down on my tank, I switched to using Quarion(im using 2 healers in Venom 9, Heksandra and Quarion).
So i guess you could use any of the two depending on the situation. If you want that large amount of heals, go for Imperial Warrior. If you want the Def Up Quarion offers, use him.

tbh, i have mostly seen them in pvp. I have them too but not leveled(only Questa is leveled, i have Iola and Lydia except Shagrol). You could try putting tanking gears on MC(lightning) or Enna. as Shagrol and Questa just jumps to the backline. Ofcourse Lydia would be the better tank out of the ones i listed(since her role is literally a tank), but if you lack resources, i might level just the three first.

Iola is a great utility hero, she is like an upgraded Irina.

Iola Ultimate first, wait 10 seconds to finish, then cast Irina's ultimate. If any of your hero dies fast, equip your hero with Defense stats on all gear, runes, artifact.

i saw your team. to deal with purple dragon, go with MC Ice, heks, furbath, doks, usha. all must be above lvl 91 to equip negative runes. each lvl only adds 1.3. % increase in stats. so lvl 100 isnt necessary. but stats from negative rune is absolute must. maybe u can even remove heks and put another AOE damage dealer. for eg, human archer eli.

she also gets 20% crit rate from her passive too. So, if you look for items with crit rate sub stat you can get high enough (80%+ with the passive) that the +crit damage glove is much better

also, you might want to try testing with the full 3 piece set bonus if you have good pieces to swawp in. in my experience both the defence ignore and the derived damage is more than worth the sacrificed stats in the total damage you can do in vortex.

derived damage is especially good vs vortex boss since he has infinite HP and derived damage is based on enemies current HP (so it doesnt get weaker/less effective as the fight continues)

*to clarify i mean its better than the double 2 set bonus. Dont swap out main stat +crit damage for +resistance or something 😆 that wouldnt be worth. but if you have crit damage main stat in both pieces then give it a try

I dont have that artifact you show but i would probably not use it. gonna be hard to get shield uptime to take advantage of that damage bonus

from looking at your team, i feel like your gap is an attack down debuff. could probably get an extra minute of survival if you had a way to apply that debuff before the boss's final attack in the rotation. if that extra minute is worth swapping nedda, idk, would have to test that out. also dont know what your options are

you could try dane but he only has attack penalty 1, not nearly as good as 2 so may not be enough

but you'd need to get him with ~200 accuracy and then use his ult before the 4th attack

huldork has attack penalty i see but its on his battle skill unfortunetly, kinda need to be able to control the attack penalty to make sure you can use it during whichever attack the boss kills you on so you can survive through it and keep your rotation going longer

if she does have that level, then giving her 200 accuracy should work better than dane and use her to debuff boss on whatever atttack in the rotation is killing you. but if she doesnt and only has a 75% of applying it then it will be pretty rng

im currently building my team for both lvl9 dungeons(was auoting 8 without problems)
I might Gardrus/Fihrah (again) because of their Resistance Aura. As ive recently switched to Eches for the Debuff removal. I also noticed its better to have attack down and healing prohibition whenever the boss eats your tank.

For Pheonix, i use Questa as a secondary healer. again this is only for level 8, i still need to min-max gears to try tackling level 9 again.

I've seen her being built for Rot too, if you only want the healing prohibition then it should be fine(i remember you need to atleast increase the chance to 100% with skill scrolls). Her Debuff immunity might come in handy too, its just a pity that there is no debuff removal before applying debuff immunity.

In temportal vortex I'm hoping to drop gillian for something ice/poison for the 5 element resonance as I'm 1 upgrade off maxing the ice/poison tree. Are there any rare / epics that can replace gillian in this team? I'm doing about 6mil damage to the boss and I don't survive long enough with just frurbath and voresh healing

I've got all rare / epics for these two elements but lacking legendary options for them

Acilia for fire/radiant team as a healer, Frurbath for ice/poison as a healer. Personally i think you dont need dedicated support healer in vortex.
If your vortex level is 170,
Acilia would work as a debuffer/healer for fire/radiant.
for poison you might need a debuffer along with frurbath(tank+healer) I would use Eches(epic poison as the debuffer, i build her a bit of utility + dps - with the set that gives 15% atk bonus when using ulti)

I tried all possible combinations of heroes I have. But it does not matter when tank dies due to heal prohibition. What is funny those guys are so hard to kill. My best ult hit them for 45K and they barely felt that like they all had 200K HP.

even with Heksandra as one of your healers, atleast she would dispel one of the debuff? i did manual it on my case and time both healers when i think my tank cant handle the damage.
took me atleast 10+ tries to finally do it.

I finally beat the Rogue Leader fight in the new Snowland area. This was my arrangement for it. Positioning made a very big difference (as did gear). The very same layout failed once but then worked on a second try. Hope this helps somebody.

whats deal with lady poisonface in feywild? I buffed my resistance but still got poisoned and she got crazy dmg buffs. Do I need more resistance or is it a dps race?

Hey guys, what's your line-up for ranged team with 1 tank and Hexandra for Bionphray Chaos Shadows?

but i bet heroes like pargu/bone-lady-ice-lego is good against bionphray.
im also thinking if high resistance lineup would work nice against him(and how much is needed resistance)

I run dorkuraz, ice Mc and voresh with furby tanking and oggok healing but you can replace oggok with heksandra I'm sure, she's really good

I actually just ran it, tbh furby doesnt do anything special, he just tanks it any tank can replace him in that setup since you have a full healer, voresh offhealing and ice mc adding more sustain with his shields

Thats how I place em, pretty much noone but the tank gets hit except for his random lightning strikes that can hit anyone

i had to look at gallery on bionphrays skill aoe. and his ulti was the same aoe as heksandras heal so i thought positioning them like that would hit them if its positioned like that. tested it out glad i was wrong, the only skill that was hitting was the 3x3 box.

and the random lightning when he is electrified. i wished it was a buff that could be dispelled(or prevented). but only the def-up buff seems to be the one that is removable.

i tested with 363 resistance (273 +50 psychicore +40 sanguine) and my heksandra still gets stunned 25% of the time.

I replaced vidimir with him as well, I much prefer him and find he does alot more damage, also a good frost setup person for usha in other fights, where i put accuracy on him
