I don't know if you already had your answer but just in case : when you are equipping gears to your heroes, you have a "equipment sale" at the bottom left (I play on android). From there, you have the option to select every gear you want to sell, or to filter the gear you don't want and tap on the "batch" button

There's a ton of stuff judging from the beta to do and I think you can progress and enjoy the game without paying but it doesn't hurt especially with the reduced cost of resources they mentioned changing to support the people who made the game. My 0.02.

There should be somewhere in settings where you can contact them for help, you could also try when you load the game there are tools in the left corner of loading screen that resets things, your progress won't be lost.

It tells you under or above their name if they are support, wild, tank, brutal and so forth, then you look at their abilities which gives you a rundown of what they can do, then in abilities that says detail, if you click that it tells you even more of what's happening and whether they rely on defense, attack, enlightenment and so forth

In the actual game when you get a dupe through the horn it'll give you essence of creation but that wouldn't do anything out of game, it's just a way to get 1 hero. If you pick a hero that is a dupe when you hit journey level 5, you'd get essence of creation in the same manner.

It's an in-game resource used to level up artifacts.

all race-characters you create, only affects the 'base' attributes. and attributes doesnt affect your battle, only how you interact with the world/npc/cooking/crafting.

INT = helps duplicating Food, once you roll 20, you get another different food of the same rarity, also being checked in the gargoyle
WIS = for ingame encounters(but can be worked around by just stepping back, and going back to the node of encounter) also being checked in the gargoyle
STR = breaking stuff, helps on forging, high roll on forging = gives more return on materials(mainly the iron ore)
CHA = mostly useful on npcs
DEX = for stealing stuff

thats why INT is always better for progress. as this attributes does not affect the battle

if you just joined a recently opened server, you are journey-level locked. and can't progress until next reset.

1st : i think its an area before you go to the sunrise camp
2nd: area before altar of withering
