here's the updated blue marble anchor point!

the new template is 16 pixels wider so that the favor tree section is 100% accurate, which means it'll be misaligned if you used the old anchor point

I also added dithering to the gradient (sky) above the Clock Tower

Giant 1:1 scale Dormont in Antarctica

The extension "Blue Marble" is used by most of us with the template to mark out specific pixel locations through the use of a (not completely updated yet) template.

If you don't want to deal with downloading it, there are a few places where you can just fill in pixels or use a reference image for working on the trees... There are a lot of trees.

To those who are working on the Dormont project, there are two trees to the south of the river, left from the farmland, that have some bits of canopy that are marked to be filled.

I've completed the dithering for a patch of shade underneath the northwestern grove of trees that are outside of the Favor tree area, now all it needs is a few touch-up's of light grey.

I understand extending the several bottom trees next to the favor tree entrance once pixel to the right due to the misaligned shadows, but some of these need to be kept where they are... Finding a lot of these actually.

I know it's kind of inevitable but... Oi this shifting is bad in some places.

• It's just my opinion though, I'm also fairly new here

(This is about the Dormont Project) Is it save to assume any inconsistencies with tree placement/dithering/alignment in the new template comparted to what's already painted should be repainted and fixed? I'm specifically talking about the trees leading up to the House of Change viewpoint, the trees around the clocktower, and the sky above the clocktower

Just finished detailing the Houses and other small bits of Dormont

I'm shading a few of the old plants to do a compare and contrast on what we all pefer, I'll let you folks know when I've got the "Samplers" done

oh yeah, seeing the new versions of the crops next to the old ones, the brighter ones are definitely better imo

Hehe yea I thought the crops looked really weird with darker colors

So I changed them to all use slightly brighter colors, which also made them all have a consistent color palette

don't know if you've seen, but there's some changes to the template trees leading up to the house on the right side to be more in line with what was already there. saw you've started doing stuff there so wanted to give you a heads up. the ones on the left should probably also be left alone for now

Almost done filling this chunk of the floor then I noticed Mira and decided to give her shading
It also made me notice that some parts of her seem to be one pixel off but I decided to leave that be as it'd be a bit of a headache without an overlay

This also made me notice how flat the people are looking compared to the scenery, lol

Might try to look into that later
