While I was moderating in a locked VC, I verbally warned Mikey multiple times because he was deafened and not responding. I remained polite and professional throughout the interaction, but Mikey displayed behavior issues and was being uncooperative.
The first issue was that despite receiving several verbal warnings, he showed disrespectful behavior and refused to cooperate when asked to behave.
The second issue was related to him watching the Storm Series. Both Sparrow and I asked why the streamer was deafened, but instead of answering properly, Mikey continued to show attitude and interfere with the moderation process.
He was also attempting to prevent me from carrying out my moderation duties and made false allegations against Akira without providing any evidence.
Due to his disruptive behavior, lack of cooperation, interference with moderation, and false accusations, I issued him a mute as a moderation action.

These are the proofs that demonstrate Mikey's attitude and behavior toward staff members. They show the way he thinks about moderation and how he responds when staff members are carrying out their duties.
As a staff member, I have the authority and responsibility to moderate when necessary. Whether or not moderation should take place is not a decision for Mikey to make. During the situation, Akira was also being spoken to unnecessarily, and even Sparrow pointed this out. Mikey's responses were rude, dismissive, and came across as misbehavior toward staff members.
His conversation with me was also disrespectful in tone. Rather than cooperating with the moderation process, he challenged staff actions and created unnecessary arguments. Before taking action, I consulted Loppy regarding the situation, and I was advised that moderation action was appropriate. Based on that guidance and Mikey's behavior, I proceeded with the mute.
Additionally, I was specifically addressing and speaking with Mikey at the time. I had not approached or questioned you regarding the situation. However, you repeatedly intervened by asking questions such as why someone could not remain deafened, what had happened, and why moderation was taking place. These interruptions made it more difficult for me to carry out my moderation duties and effectively handle the situation.
From my perspective, both Mikey's behavior and the repeated interruptions during the moderation process contributed to the issue and hindered staff from performing their responsibilities properly.
According to your statement, Mikey deafened himself because people in the VC were talking and disturbing him. But in the proofs, you also said that he was watching the Storm Series. If he wanted to focus on the stream, then deafening himself was his own choice.
As staff, we cannot stop moderating or talking in a VC just because someone is watching a stream. We have a responsibility to do our work and communicate when needed.
I understand that because Mikey was deafened, he may have missed some verbal warnings at first. However, the main issue was not that he was deafened. The issue was how he behaved after he became aware of the situation. Instead of cooperating, he argued with staff, interrupted moderation, and created unnecessary problems.
So, the fact that he was watching the Storm Series does not change the concerns about his behavior toward staff and during the moderation process.

We reviewed Mikey's behavior and determined that the timeout was justified. Had his behavior been appropriate, no timeout would have been issued. As such, I don't see any further basis for this report. Is there anything else you would like to add, sir?
