Hey, I just wanted to chime in respectfully about this. I get that AI-generated art isn’t allowed for the contest — I missed that rule and that’s totally fine. I’m not upset about being disqualified or anything.

What bothered me more was some of the comments implying that AI art isn’t “real” or that people who use AI don’t put effort or thought into their work. I actually spent time choosing my concept, tweaking it, and deciding which version best fit what I had in mind. That’s still creativity — it just happens at a different stage of the process.

AI doesn’t erase human creativity; it’s just another tool, like digital brushes or 3D modeling software. It helps streamline the technical part, but the ideas, choices, and taste still come from a person.

I’m proud of how my piece turned out. It wasn’t creepy or low-effort — it looked like something that could have been made digitally or even hand-drawn with enough time. Both Kevin and I thought it looked really nice, and honestly, that’s enough for me. 🎃

I just hope people can be a little more open-minded — we’re all here to be creative and have fun in our own ways. ❤️
