Cooking is a slow skill?

I think cooking is fine if I can get to 115 without having to have premium or an otherworldly pan and just on mainly cooking anglers

#

You also got to think about the time it took you to catch those fish as well fishing takes way longer than cooking

Cooking fish takes longer because you cook 1 fish at a time.

# zinc spear Not true

At T3, I am catching 2 tunas at 16.7 seconds, while I am cooking 1 tuna at 11.8 seconds.
Fishing with “The Fisherman” and "Most efficient fisherman". That is like saying you are catching a raw tuna in 8.35 seconds and cooking another tuna in 8.35 seconds(16.7 seconds). But if you decide to just cook tuna you are cooking 3.45 seconds slower.

Cooking is a slow skill

It takes like 3 days to get 120 cooking assuming you have the gold...

just sell your raw fish and enjoy not having to waste time cooking

you might make some noobies upset if you speed up raw fish speeds, I would imagine supply would shoot up if its easier to produce cooked fish faster, driving market costs down for those trying to earn gold for premium - not to say that effecting the market is a sole reason it shouldn't be done, but just to keep that in mind

Maybe the perk could have requirements such as cooking has to be a certain level.

so mid-game players benefit while noobies suffer? and end-game players don't even want the upgrade? feels weird

jade wedge
#

noobies suffer anyways, nobody starts with all perks unlocked

analog knot
#

right, noobies don't have gold and mid-game players would buy the upgrade and drive down cooked fish costs, I just don't think the upgrade is necessary 🤷‍♂️

#

if anything sage book and/or most efficient fisherman cooking xp should be nerfed imo

Cooking gets done by itself XD by the time you are donw with fishing you might as well be at 120m cooking exp

You can get to 120 cooking while doing exterminating tasks and skilling combat, all at the same time...

#

And if you are using a melee weapon with mixed exp, you would be lvling 6 skills at once

I wasn't suggesting it for cooking exp, I was suggesting it to make cooking actually some what worth it in the game specially if you have tons of fish. Sure you can sell you raw fish, but it doesn't sell that great for IM/GIM.

#

This would just give a purpose to actually cook instead of having tons and tons of raw fish.

Really cooking is a great way to make money. Raw prices are super cheap and cooked are much higher. It is my highest skill atm at 113 and only one above 100 on main. I've been idle cooking and dropping 10s of thousands in clan vault to help members and still have food of my own to use and or sell. I decided to save money on food I would buy raw and cook myself so boosting it for cape buffs was my plan. Think all gear I'm cooking tuna at 23.1 seconds or something like that with lil cooker passive on tuna as well. I'm not against buffing cooking but it is fine atm lol.

My two cents, the first skill I got 120 in was cooking. I did that without the fisherman cooking perk and I wasn’t even trying. It’s arguably one of the easiest skills to max.

Clan cooking events are going to drop a cooking outfit soon. Hopefully that helps you.

Cooking is the most free skill out there

Cooking xp needs a nerf, imo.

EXP
It's the most buffed xp-gaining skill in the game. Exp sources: cooking, fishing (Fisherman upgrade) and eating (while fighting normal mobs, as seen during this exp event).

CRIT (double cook)
This is offset by the Fisherman upgrade.
