My steam overlay is not working for idleclans and i am trying to buy some in game items, but each time i click the item the steam shop does not open. Sometimes (long after clicked) a popup will appear saying there appears to be a connection issue between idleclans and the the steam store and to make sure i have my Overlay turned on in settings. Ive checked, and i do infact have overlay turned on. It works on my other steam games, including making purchases. I have already added the funds to my steam wallet + i do not wish to pay the extra costs + fees to buy the items on mobile.

how exactly are you opening the game?
if youre not going into steam and clicking play, itll launch via the .exe, outside of steam so you wont get the overlay

i am opening the game the same way i have always opened it, with the shortcut it created on the desktop
sorry i did not get a notification or i would have replied sooner
i just deleted idleclans and all related data ( that i could find ) and reinstalled with no shortcuts, opened through steam and no change

on steams end its showing im trying to make purchases but its failing

Yeah that'll have been because you were using a shortcut

but all my other games work and i can bring up overlay with Shift + Tab
but ive always had the desktop shortcut and ive made many purchases before yesterday

Well its always been this way, so not sure how you managed to make the purchases

At what point while trying to buy the tokens can you tell something isnt working?

on steam i can see that i am trying to make purchases, and i have also put in a report to steam to see if they can figure it out.
once i click on the item i want to buy, nothing happens

As a work around (if you want to), you could try mobile if thats available
If you dont want to, i do think tems could get it resolved soon

i do have idle clans downloaded on my phone, but the price of packages is higher AND you have to pay tax after the increased price... so its a double wammy to buy anything through the play store on idleclans
