you could theoretically grind raids to get 10 helmets, but you'd also be punishing anyone that did have helmets previously and sold them because dupes have had no use for the year~ that rotg has been out
would say the same with pet dupes now, don't introduce a use for them later on

many players have helmets, it worth nothing.. the fun is grind plate/legs ^-^

I do also dislike the idea of allowing market manipulate via existing items while providing a use for them. People abused such things previously with insider info
best way would be to just introduce a new item and a new way to get it. Start fresh

warrior items are not dead items though, minotaur horn is since it came out after warrior helm and basically does the same thing. Dragonscale were both dead on arrival

but for example, wand of lifesteal
instead of just a new wand, why dont we get a new rare item, for example, and with 10 lifesteal wands, make a high level wand

again the second it gets confirmed in qa someone will tell the general public in some way and then lifesteal wands now cost 10s of millions when they used to be 40k junk. Then we have to go through the whole witchunt of finding out which QA did it and then testers are bad and should be abolished. Same old story
the only way to do such a thing would be to not make use of qa testers and release it live
