Like you do for Ad boost, you consume it but you can pause timer.

Like you don't need to plan to drink potions anymore, just chug and then decide when and which buffs you want active

Nothing I've just never seen consumable buffs be paused before

I personally think that's your responsibility to use them wisely. If you take 20 hours of something potions and something else comes better. You decide if that 120k an hour is worth wasting. There needs to be Gold sinks in all games. This is one that is minimal at best. I've wasted hours of AK potions and sure it sucks, but it's my fault for taking them and then switching what i'm doing.

I feel like a difficult endgame unlock/perk could be fun way of going about it and actually worth pursuing. Say similar rarity to a Kronos drop. Otherwise I agree with Messiah.

Would definitely need some kind of anti-cheese precautions in place like how the boost timers have that pause/resume delay, otherwise you could min/max tasks by pausing and activating potions only when you finish a task.

It would be pretty nice to have this option to pause potions though, from my experience I would probably pause them when my clan wants to do events, or if I wanted to stop and do some raids or clan bosses after I forget I drank a ton of AK pots or something
