I have tried closing game/pc/steam etc. I have also checked the integrity of the files

Also - Could you try to cross reference how much gold you have, after drinking a negotiation potion, before and after selling an item? I wonder if this is only visual

I will do that experiment for you. happens every time, have wasted 20+ potions now checking if its working or not. Never thought it might be visual only, if it is thats fine and I can live with it
Ok its not just visual.
Meteroite glove (mg) sold for 5500. My gold went from 748354 to 753854 (5500)
I then drank a potion which expires instantly. I sold another mg and my gold went to 759354 which subtracted from old total gives 5500. Its also what the thing says I will get after drinking the potion

The client runs it's own calculation so it would think in that instance that no potion is active and not give the gold for it, but it should still only be visual issue. If you relog after doing that test, you should receive the missing gold from the potion effect.
Still needs to be fixed of course. I'll investigate it some more.
