I never had to enchant extra gear. I did my silver then gold and now I'm working on diamond and have over level 100 without reading scrolls or enchanting anything extra I didn't need

When I didn't need the 5th enchant I would sell it on the market and then buy one I needed

some folks don't get every enchant, just the ones they want (usually combat ones) and that's it. idk why though.. xD

I just did grey to 50 yellow to 80 and now work on diamond

Well it’s not wasteful design then to be fair that’s just them wasting

Trading would devalue enchants below exceptional
