@deep prawn So, Let's say in order to 'Kite', archery defense needs to meet an XP threshold. 70 as an example.
When you hit this threshold, you can now 'kite'. This allows for you a 'bow wielder', every 3rd shot to 'push' the enemy away, slowing their attack speed by 2x or by 2% (whichever works).
Once the mob is slowed (for 1 attack), their next attack has a chance to deal minimum dmg " 1 " and the second attack is a 100% success crit, at .5x dmg. As they would be rushing to you to hit. In order for this to land, they have to actually hit with a defense check as per normal.
If they miss the 2nd hit, you crit for .5x dmg as a 'range bonus'
This simulates a kite (moving away from the mob, for others who are reading this) , without just x/hits miss. and still allows you to deal dmg at the same time
