Not beating the lethal allegations with this idea...
I don't think real landmines beep, so I'm fine with just lights on them. Plus, I noticed they spawn in the same spots everytime, with a chance to spawn there or not.
meaning if you memorize the map, beeping doesn't make sense if they're consistent in their spot placements
however, I'd love for a forsaken to die if I step on one as well. a life for a life is a fair trade I'd say
maybe a blinking green light next to the red one on the mine could help
And then you go bunker with blackout with landmines without any light

the mines have a small red light on them so a green blinking one next to the red one would make them more visible
I am not saying it wont be more visible. Just exposing the fact that somehow landmines in Blackout are even more lethal
landmines must have a cable to conect them to the bunker generator

Strange then because we did it like 5h ago just to see if the blast doors would make noise and the landmine lights were off

If was funny cause one player decided to test for science if the landmines were deactivated and when she stepped in it nothing happened... then another player joined her and both died 😊

eh id agree if that was the vibe of the whole game yk, the game is meant to be very serious and spooky so it kinda detracts sometimes. Still funny tho
i had that same scenario just with friends in a different game with landmines too

but they were trolling and wanted to be goofie landmine victims

but yeah blackout landmines were HILARIOUS. my friend exploded instantly in front of me, and then I too also exploded
I think landmines are still fine as is, since they aren't random locations, they are set locations and randomly spawned from those locations per tile/room
I do think landmines being deactivated during blackouts would give bunker a nice buff for those who hate tiptoeing
To be fair I didnt have the chance to go again in a blackout bunker so it may have been a one time thing like the bunker generation with empty rooms

I went there and saw the landmines red light
Landmines are hard when you are learning the map but as you play more and more you begin to look for a landmine at a specific spot as you enter one room. They seem to spawn in a limited number of nodes for each tile and it makes it way more bearable. Personally I love them as it adds a funnier side to the game
I wonder if it was because the save was from a previous version 🤔 . Maybe it could be the reason

save from previous version probably did that
at first I disliked the landmines cause it was making it slower, but since they are set and not completely random in their placement, I am ok with them
