So I was taking my good ol’ 2:14 AM shower, and approximately 55 seconds into this glorious shower I had a thought. And naturally I let my mind wander and evolve this thought into an idea with very little analysis of detail or potential repercussions.

“Oh good golly Escue sama! What might this 2:14:55 shower idea be?” is what you may be asking. And I am here to answer that very inquisitive inquiry!

Basically I was thinking about Escape mode and think its cool that the devs are telling multiple perspectives of their story. And then I started thinking about how I have always wondered what stories could be told using the premise of being left behind in all these Multiplayer ‘explore horror games’. And 💥 BOOM💥 I had an idea. What if the amazing people of Made in Fairyland were to expand on their story this way!

I will keep it a stack, idk how it would work. I would imagine an intro cutscene with the train leaving you behind and you are forced to survive until a new crew comes to the station and you could hitchhike off them or something. But I think a gamemode that is just ‘survive for X amount of time’ would be sorta boring and not really offer anything different from Escape.

Hmmm, an escape like gamemode 🤔

Probably too similar, and I can imagine the time based process would be easy to cheese. Though if you want a gamemode that's more in line with escape, you could always have a "collect" mode where you need to find 8 or 10 objects laying around and use them to unlock the train.

Slender, basically. But still I think having Escape does its job well enough so that the devs can spend more time on ironing out and adding onto what wr already got.
