#How to rework gravity mastery without anyone getting mad

I've always thought gravity mastery was a bad thing, because it barely captures any gravity related themes. There's the Q which is kinda gravity, because of the pull?

Then there's the gravity effects, but they last for 3 seconds, making changes that are barely noticable.

The problem with reworking the mastery is that a lot of anime fans would get mad that they lose the ability, which is fair, I guess.

That's why I suggest reworking the mastery itself, and have the Gojo ability be a badge ability, just without the low and high gravity effects.

Now, this badge ability would have a new obtainment, BUT so those who already had the mastery doesn't end up feeling cheated, I think you could add ANOTHER BADGE that's called "OG Gravity Mastery", which players automatically get for just having the old gojo gravity mastery. Players with this badge would automatically get the new Gojo badge ability, so they don't feel like they've wasted their effort.
This badge would disabled after the rework, so the new obtainment doesn't get forgotten either.

I think this would be a good way to minimize dissatisfaction across the fanbase if Gravity Mastery is get a rework, because it does need one. Seriously, there's so many cool creative concepts for a gravity related ability, and it could open up for so many different styles of combat, so don't let it go to waste by an anime reference.

i think gravity mas is currently fine

#

we dont need a diff ability to be gojo

#

i also do think the anime reference is cool

#

sorry

i meant the reference is cool for gravity mas itself

well i do like this one as it couldve been worse

it couldve been worse you know

cursive walrus
#

gravity mastery?

cursive walrus

i like to imagine a mastery that lets you open a big area where you can manipulate gravity to your own advantage to confuse players

#

and walking on walls maybe..

frigid vigil
#

it is

#

red acts as an opposite of gravity

#

and pushes everything away

#

and blue is similar to gravity

#

no like thats how the technique originally works

cursive walrus
#

and dont even mention the 3 second gravity effects players get right after being hit

#

because they last so short that it barely matters

frigid vigil
#

the technique is already manipulating space cause of it and it includes gravity

cursive walrus
frigid vigil
#

so it is reasonable

#

well it was technique inspired

#

and the technique has the reason

#

so yeah

the moves he do manipulate them tho

his moves do manipulate space and gravity

"Yes, Gojo Satoru’s power, specifically his Limitless technique, is deeply related to the manipulation of space, which can manifest as gravity-like effects. While the base "Infinity" acts as a barrier that slows down objects by dividing space, his techniques "Blue" and "Red" act as attractive and repulsive forces, similar to gravity and anti-gravity, respectively." i thought the purple only did insane damage

cursive walrus
#

because if it is to get a rework

#

this would be a nice approach that doesnt hurt anyone

i think this argument sucks, because gojo has a bunch of powers, those 2 just INCLUDE gravity, they aren't centered around it, PLUS if it was, the game still fails to make the mastery gravity related. like a pull and push (barely push, just a knockback effect), is not creative and enough for a non-jjk fan to see gravity in the ability. The effects of the orbs last 3 seconds, so the changes are unnoticable. And lastly, the damage and destruction of this thing is so high, that it completely disregards the actual gravity effects of the ability

It's a suggestion on HOW you can avoid the fans getting mad if the ability ever is to get a rework, which I think it needs too, but the concept of that rework is not related to the suggestion.
