Idea:

** A rework of custom ability because it is outclassed by god punch in (almost) every way. **
This is sad, because it costs the same as god punch but less powerful.
Duality goes off of a commonly suggested idea for a long time, which is being able to combine abilities.

Stand:

In the lobby, the stand will look similar to the current custom stand, but with god punch in one hand and freeze in the other. The customize button will still be present, which will be explained below. The tag will be a gradient, moving from black to white. If possible, the outline will contrast this, going from white to black.
After purchasing the gamepass and customizing it, the stand will change the god punch and freeze to different abilities, to help better show which abilities are equipped without going into the customize menu.

Customize:

After clicking on the customize button, it brings the player to a similar menu to the current custom ability. When selecting E, they can choose a compatible ability, and when choosing Q, they can do the exact same thing. Unless it is a broken ability, allow them to access a submenu after clicking the ability to select which ability.
This may be seen as overpowered because of certain combos, but the menu will automatically remove options if it does something unwanted with the other combo ability.

Uniqueness:

Fission Bar:

A bar is shown at the top of the player's screen, regardless of ability. It has a max capacity of 1000.

Ways to fill:

The bar will passively increase by 1 every second. Every punch adds 10, kills add 100, abilities hitting adds 20 per person, and using an ability and having it miss / using a non-offensive ability will take away 10.
-# If the bar is below 10, the player cannot use abilities.

R ability: Ability Beam

If the player has over 500 fission, releases a beam at default (some abilities, such as stardust, will change it to things such as a star). Other abilities will enhance the beam, giving it status effects and stats.
-# For example, if the player has midas and blood god equipped, the player will be turned into gold and teleported to the blood god dimension afterward. (If you're wondering why blood god doesn't do bleeding, it might, but that might be reserved for another ability like vampire, along with life steal.)

Mastery:

Mastery Requirements:

Duality mastery will require the player to reach the moon while using custom, but also have meteor equipped. The player will not suffocate and instead be allowed to summon a meteor on the moon. This will create a flash and teleport the player to an apocalyptic obby.
In the obby, there is a large pit of lava beneath you along with some floating platforms. Dramatic music will be playing in the background, and the player will have reduced gravity.
Meteors will be falling around and on the obby, destroying platforms behind you. Upon reaching the end, the player will automatically equip duality but with the sun and moon, and they will use it to fight off waves of enemies called "penetrators" which appear like spikes. The penetrators will attempt to reach the middle of the crater, where an orb stands. The orb will slowly grow and award the player with the badge after 2 minutes.
Penetrators will have 100 HP and undo 10 seconds of the orb's progress.
After the orb fully grows, it will absorb everything on the screen and kill the player. This awards the badge.
Upon failing the obby, the player will be teleported back to the beginning of the obby and failing while fighting the waves will teleport the player to the beginning of the fight.

Sun sub-ability:

Creates a pillar of flame similar to mage's fire attack. This deals vertical knockback and 50 damage to penetrators.

Moon sub-ability:

Summons a fragment of moon rock and throws it at the cursor. This deals no knockback but 2 second stun and 50 damage to penetrators.

Mastery behavior:

In the menu, the player can also select a passive (god punch excluded) to play with. The player can also select abilities that come from masteries.

Balancing:

Some aspects of this may become broken/unbalanced or hard to code, but some balancing ideas can be helpful (This is for the main ability ONLY, mastery and fission are free to be changed as much as needed)

Broken Combo Patch:

Some combos may lead to broken or unwanted outcomes, such as butter + blood god being able to permanently trap players in the blood dimension. I propose 3 fixes for this problem.

Fix 1: Auto block

If some combos lead to broken outcomes, simply prevent the player from doing these by preventing the player from selecting the option with the other one equipped.

Fix 2: Report combos

Add a report combo button to the menu, which will send the combo similar to a feedback button. This can help discover strange combos before they are abused too much (Also add the "Report combo" button in the settings, in case the victim is reporting it and they do not have the gamepass.)

Fix 3: Nerfing 😄

The last and most obvious fix to this would be nerfing the combo altogether, which can easily be checked for with an if-statement (For example, make the player only be able to stay as butter for up to 5 seconds in the blood god dimension)

Update Integration:

One of the main reasons why abilities are removed or not included is that it must be updated every new version of the game. This gets annoying, so I have 3 potential fixes.

Fix 1: Heavy modularization

For the skeleton of the code, make it automatically add abilities to the list using a for loop, and manually remove unwanted ones. This may require lots of work, but it will make it a lot easier to add.

Fix 2: Limited options

Instead of having most compatible abilities be available, make a specific list of abilities so that the list does not need constant updating.

"Fix" 3: Never update

Simply never update the ability and leave as-is, unless it becomes game-breaking.
