Ok but it ain't as fun
This just adds a fixed version of return but keeps the flawed unmastered version
(Reminder, the issue wih unmas is that it has zero offense and mobility, but comically high defense)
Which is why this ability has some form of offense
This mastery I mean
Couldn't you just, fix return instead of making a mastery
Whatever that's a topic for later
First I need to ensure that THIS is balanced
They already know return is bugged and don't fix it, so I might aswell suggest something that could help bring attention to it
Anyway just tell me your thoughts, im open to changes

Eh I thought of doing that but idk if that works best, because return is basically reliant on its ability for fighting
Though my only concern is R allowing for some diabolical combos
Return + time
Rwturn + god punch
Ye it can definitely be OP but only in the right hand
Return + engineer box with a teleporter
Return + basically any nuker ability

Ye I think maybe I could put some kind of limits
Maybe a range limit or a time limit
Maybe make it so you need to use it in the next 10 seconds or it expire
Perhaps giving then iframes for 2 seconds to anything BUT the return user?

Idk that would ruin the pure combo potential I had envisioned
I view it more as a "get over here" typa move

A mastery is overall useless when something doesn’t need it
It does, it's literally one of the least used ability, and people hate it because it's completely useless and boring
I'm sorry but if you think the most hated agility doesn't deserve a mastery then nothing does lol

cuz return is mainly carried by Q and your own melee skills
they can make it so your buffed when you return and so you can just spam returns
Which work somewhere where death is actually a bad thing, except in ability wars respawning isn't exactly that bad
