There is legit no reason for anybody to go inside the Gingerbread realm to fight the Gingerbread user (it’s not even good as an escape tool like unmastered Portal). Even while inside you don’t have any buffs to yourself so that’s an even bigger reason why nobody uses the Gingerbread realm when fighting.

Here’s how to make players incentivized enough to invade the realm:

Clone Possession:

Sitting on the clone now allows you to possess a random Gingerbread soldier. You gain abilities according to what type of soldier they are. You can control them to walk out of the Gingerbread house to enter the main world as long as the Gingerbread house stays in tact. The house basically works like a link between the main world and your realm. Once the link is severed the controlled Gingerbread soldier outside of the realm dies.

You can control the Gingerbread soldier to fight other players and if the soldier dies, you get evicted from your throne immediately. Sit back on it to control a different soldier. This way you can force players to invade your realm if they want to stop you from sending Gingerbread soldiers at them.

In order to stop possessing a Gingerbread soldier just press E again. Jumping shouldn’t make you get off the throne as jumping is quite necessary for pvp. In addition, you can also do /e kneel as a Gingerbread soldier if you want to make them kneel in front of you on your throne.

The number of Gingerbread soldiers increase more and they’re spread out around the realm more.

Robot users can send only their clones into the realm while the main body stand outside and the clones will always target the Gingerbread the user as long as they’re still inside the realm. Army users can do this too if they punch the house so that Gingerbread still had counters.

Technically other players who sit on the throne can also control a Gingerbread soldier so now you get to fight alongside your soldiers as well.

There are currently 3 types of Gingerbread soldiers and their abilities are:

Pawn: Most balanced base stats. Runs up to the targets and attacks.

Rook: Moves around on a cannon, shooting explosive gumdrops.

Bishop: Heals other units at a quick rate. Has lower health than Pawn but higher regeneration. If another player is controlling a Bishop they can heal you.

More types of pieces that I propose:

Knight: Slower from wearing heavy armor but is more beefy. It is not bigger so it has the same hitbox.

Queen: Super fast and jumps super high. Dies in 1 hit.

King Vessel: 10% chance of getting this type of soldier when possessing a pawn. Allows you to use your Gingerbread Q - Dough Pounding and R - Candy Cane abilities as a soldier.

Debating whether other players should be able to use the King Vessel or only the Gingerbread user can use it

Solid suggestion but they aren't going to add this

#

Its too complicated

Sure the old realm was small and boring but it was better for combat. The current realm is too big and the players inside can just run around so u got to chase them down and the troops dont help much. Not to mention players can now use abilitys inside.

Doesn't even make sense for the ability

Controlling a pupet is extremely simple because they have no abilities

#

Also even if they decided they wanted to do this suggestion the only thing that would change is that people would want to go into the gingerbread relam even less

you know the only reason players invade the UFO is because of the UFO's ability to interact with the world right?

#

the UFO user doesnt want you to invade their world

#

meanwhile a gingerbread user wants you to enter

blissful quail
#

Exactly

#

So why would people enter in the first place

#

Ufo is different because inside the ufo is the only place where the user is vulnerable

#

There is literally no reason for an opponent to go into the gingerbread house other than to prove a point

you a dev or something

#

it’s not even complicated

blissful quail
#

Its not a good enough idea for how complicated it would be

#

I mean they could probably do it

#

But for what it is, its not worth it

#

Also doesn't fit the theme

#

Anyways I'm done with this suggestion

rigid prairie
#

doesn’t fit the theme..?

#

it’s controlling a gingerbread man

#

we basically have this with ufo, puppet, and old mind control

i really like the new kinds of troops, but im not a fan of the part you control troops. just adding the new pieces is really good tho
