Why using damage orb when u can have healing orb
In general
Any item
If you have 1M punches sitting at the pack a punch waiting for a heal to drop is annoying
Buying items would remove the concept of the pack-a-punch
It wouldn't
You can gamble to get them for cheaper
It's for people who have a ton of punches
NOT for the average player
Under 300k
Its a less creative idea that would get people overbuffed in most servers, imagine infinite divine orbs for DoS, or combining dps/tank abilities with orbs every time u play
Not balanced yk
Cooldown on divine orbs then
Or just outright disable buying them
Disabling it would let you gamble for divine orb
While you can buy the others without the struggle
U could think of a more creative idea like a merchant that sells items and buffs
It's a QoL
Simply buying items is not fun
Is sitting at the pack a punch getting an all seeing eye for the 10th time fun
This QoL would break AW balancing, giving advantage over DoS and other abilities of that type
It saves like a couple of minutes
Tell me how getting a regen 2 minutes quicker ruins balancing
And for a higher price
And why dont u use the items u get, they are all balanced
Because if I'm using bone
And I want damage
I'm not gonna grab speed
I want damage
Is that a hard concept
And sometimes the game refuses to drop what you want
If u use bone with eye, propeller, damage orb, healing orb, speed orb they all give you an advantage
Sure
But if I don't want any of those
And I want damage
I want a way to get damage
- all seeing eye is just straight ass
All seeing eye can help you against abilities that counter you
I got leaderboard tab for that
But that's aside the point
Bone is great with damage because it buffs the rate at which the 3rd ability charges
If your only problem is the eye u can get the others items and u will more likely get them
If u want damage then you roll more
And that's the whole point
I don't want to roll more
If you want something, anything, u roll once
I want to buy it and move on
I had times where I sat spinning for 5 minutes for a speed or damage
U cant get everything u want yk, u need to spend time for it
Getting the same thing every time u spawn its like a permanent ability buff
This would make everyone use orbs and it would break the meta
You can already do that buff with buying from the pack a punch
Also
Does everyone have 300k punches
Lock the shop behind 200k punches minimum
The requirement for the pack a punch is 5k btw

And the shop can be 200k
So there's your balancing problem
It saves a couple minutes on dos runs
In the long run it's barely a buff
Anyone can use orbs, using orbs at 300k is just a recomendation, u can see people with low punches using orbs too
ITS just a QoL

Making them a little easier to get isn't gonna ruin anything
You don't see people buying a pack a punch everytime they die
It would be the exact same thing with the shop
So, if I made a suggestion about boss trophies appearing in the shops would it be balanced? I would just make people not wait for the boss

Tell me exactly why saving a minute on buying an item ruins the meta
You do know everyone can just buy a pack a punch before they go in the arena right now right
U can just get to the shop and get one way quicker, that would make most people use it
You would still have to wait for it to exit the machine
So technically it breaks the meta
Its better if u wait for something that you want to pick
It gives a bigger cd depending on what you want to pick
U cant get everything quick right away
Thats why the machine exists
You can grab the orb and buy another one for the next death
It exists to give buffs
Yeah thats the thing, u spend a lot of time and that helps people not using the orb for a bigger time
It balances the meta
It also costs punches
That's what balances it out
Same wit pack a punch
The difference between your suggestion and the current pack a punch is time
People will use the shop more
And since more people uses the orbs it would make everything unbalanced compared to no orb users
Also, if the shop gets added it would scrap the idea of the pack-a-punch machine which is really creative
