Said right after dos just got a buff, while ALSO having most of their major counters removed
That is still a buff to dos
Dos does not need a buff, it's currently nigh unbeatable if the dos is even remotely decent

any projectile, quantum, freeze, bone mastery R

Cards, glue, and seat - require tricking the dos to punch you, unreliable
Time, engineer, railgun, bone mas R - require a lot of setup time, which any half decent dos will not give you (and time will not land on a dos past 20 kills anyway)
Quantum, gp - dos just has to ignore you and there goes that (also dodge ability counters gp completely)
Freeze - other than pressing e then resetting, it isn't really gonna do anything to dos, don't see freeze as a dos counter
Punch combo - ping reliant, dos only needs one hit (essentially fighting a speedy gp)
The issue with dos is that it scales far too quickly currently, and that every strong counter has recently either been completely removed (like blood god or double gravity), or nerfed heavily (railgun mostly)
There is alchemist mastery but it does also require similar levels of setup time as previously mentioned abilities
Dos currently needs a rebalance rather than tacking on an additional ability to it
More abilities can be added to it if other areas get toned down, otherwise you're only making an already strong ability even stronger
what would be cool is to nerf most of the stats of dos past 15 to 150-200 souls

that's for the most part all you can do currently, because a good dos never gives you the time to prepare the few abilities that can contend with them given enough time
and anyway they can always just avoid you

but to be frank thats a shit idea

rn the only current counter that is very effective is a bug
I don't count bugs as counters since they're unintentional and will likely get patched
one person keeps defending the bug by saying it "does not effect ppl too much"
which bug was this? oil?
