So. Let's break this down
God punch is an ability that can control it's own range And one of the only ability that could do that without a drawbacks or cooldowns and windup at all, Which isn't really the problem if people will just decided to use ranged abilities and mobility abilities right? Sure that's true but most of the time when the fight disrupted by a god punch users, it wasn't just a "Interruption" It's basically a way to cancelled the fight instantly and maybe even granting one of the sides in that battle turns around quickly like Long Ranged Abilities gaining more cooldown time from the separation of the interruption against some Mid-Close Ranged abilities
You probably see the problem i'm pointing out of why it was quite a problem now here's the solution methods changes from people who Utterly.. willingly made the suggestions about what to do with it And their flaws
Method 1 : Changes it into the powerful punch that are still somehow survivable after got hit once like instead of 100 full damages attack, We say Island range knockback punch that can be stopped if any objects prevent your knockbacks
I couldn't disagreed much from this cause the gamepass itself doesn't specifically said "Kill" Or "One shot" The description has told to be just a very god like power punch, that doesn't means it's instantly kill So i doubts players can take a lawsuits against this
Flaws : Still could result the same fight interruptions problem, Just some situations and some abilities that doesn't have a way to survives back
Method 2 : Reworking it into completely different ability while keeping it's description of the gamepass and it's damages or knockback powers balance to not completely killed a person
This could works very well as a new feature for the game to more contents aswell
Flaws : Some people might not liked it and could be Hard to rebalance due to it's description concerns
