given its shift but better i went off of similar cases (portal, lemon)
extra data on the stone, it lasts 10 seconds and doesnt go thru walls
shift priority goes as follows
- projectile
- cursor
- radius
ill add some extra conditioning (cant shift with out-of-boundary targets, nor can you be out of boundary and shift with someone on the map)
whuh
where'd it go ðŸ˜
??
i didnt accidentally delete it wth happened
well damn
unless i get like a notice or sum ill retype it
Obtainment
Complete the Trials
Complete a course oriented around the Shift ability.
A third portal located in the Astrum dimension that leads you to a course that focuses on Shift and manipulating it, e.x, jumping off a platform to hit a button while shifting, so you go back onto the platform.
Mastered Shift
Moves
E: Shift
Within 100 Studs, wind up to then shift with a selected player or entity.
On use, a player or entity nearest to your cursor or you within 100 studs is outlined in blue, as you then shift places with them! You do not have to keep your cursor over them to maintain the wind up. If nobody is near your cursor, Shift will settle to an entity closest to you. The further they are away, the longer the wind up takes; at minimum one second, at maximum 3 seconds. You cannot shift with anything outside the map boundaries, nor can you stand outside and shift somebody off the map!
- CD: 25
- Move Genre: Mobility (Teleport)
Q: Projectile
Throw a linearly-traveling stone forwards, dealing 15 DMG with knockback similar to a base punch.
While this doesn't seem that useful, using E will allow you to shift with the airborne stone! Regardless of distance as long as it's in range, the wind up will be 1 second, and you gain a small (+3 WS) speed boost for 2 seconds when exiting the shift with it!
- CD: 15
- Move Genre: Combat (Projectile), Mobility (Teleport, Speed)
R: Fake-Out
Make your currently active wind up instead do nothing, refunding half the cooldown in exchange.
This fake-out is handy in case you're caught up, or if you just want to confuse an opponent! This applies to both the regular Shift and when it's used on the projectile, in any case, decently helpful.
- CD: N/A
- Move Genre: Gimmick
got most of it back from memory
hopefully the magic god of deletion doesn't touch it this time
it might be missing some stuff because i didnt have the first version saved (it was more in-depth)
note that this is inspired by this suggestion https://discord.com/channels/922921165373202463/1400529992990986282, i did not have the intention of covering it up or overpowering theirs; this is simply my own take on it
i did kinda fall under my own words of originality but again, it is inspired
Shift mastery E someone close to the edge and your friend pushes them into the void
Outstanding
definitely no abilities that can do anything similar to that at all
..definitely..
Name them
grapple, portal, portal mas, engineer, engineer mas, cosmos mas, magnet, magnet mas
if you try hard enough storm, jello, and rage
First grapple, what is grapple's max range
decent enough to pull people in when they're busy
why are you trying to prove that this is a bad case
the player themself can see their outline and if they have an iq above six they'll know its the shift mas
As I said, their friend punches them into the void after swapping
If they can't punch, they can use anything with even the slightest bit of knockback, like bomb to push the victim into the void
can you not do that with anything else
Grapple has way less range than shift mastery
because grapple is cheap
place a portal when someones chasing you and use R to lead them to the edge where your friend is
R has a cooldown when placing a portal
So no, it won't work
ok cool, just punch them into it
How does normal portal manage that
Good luck with that
place an exit portal on the rim of the dimension, which leads to the edges of the map
either lead them into it or punch them through it
I mean sure that could work
How does magnet manage to make a person go from the middle of the map into the void though
You have to specifically chase them and go near the edge for them to do their thing
im just stating abilities that can lead others to your friends to punch them into the void
Same with jello
80 studs
Nah maybe 90
i put it at 100
Fine
Also
The reason your suggestion got auto deleted is because you edited a link into it
Also E still has outdated information
You throw a rock, and after 1 second, you switch places with the rock
Is that correct?
So otherwise it's a 15 damage projectile
How quickly does is travel
about the same speed as the razor snowflake off of custom
how fast is a razor snowflake
it takes about 5 seconds to cross the map
i dont know the specific projectile speed for the razor snowflake
The map is about 300×300 studs in size
Divide 300 by 5, and you get a travel speed of 60
Decrease the pebble travel speed to 48
Also how big is the pebble's hitbox
the stone itelf is about 1 stud but the hitbox would be 1.5
So a 1.5×1.5×1.5 hitbox
yes
