duels are boring so here is a suggestion for ranked

-in ranked u can select if u wanna queue for 1v1s 2v2s or 3v3s
-before the game starts u may pick an ability from a list of course some abilities like hoj and god punch wont be there
-winning a match gives elo and losing removes elo
-there will be 5 ranks those being: bronze (0-100 elo) silver(100-200 elo)
gold(200-300 elo) diamond(300-400 elo) and finally ability master(400+ elo)

additionally u can gain above 400 elo as there will be a leaderboard for those who want to compete

ranked abilities:
hitting certain ranks gives u a badge this badge will be called "gold rank season 1" for example (more into seasons later)

each season 2 ranked abilities are added those being for gold and ability master

once the season ends those abilities become unobtainable

now finally seasons are gonna be resetting everyone's elo and adding 2 more ranked abilities

seasons will reset every 3-5 months

to access ranked u need 5k punches

This could indeed improve the duels game-mode for both new and experienced players. However, this would cause the existing wins to be obsolete and less fair-play since they could have been obtained more easily. Additionally, I am afraid that there wouldn’t be enough of players in some of the higher ranks.

this would be even more better if they added different maps that suit different abilities so its not as repetitive and you get different abilities every match (unless someone manipulates everyone into making an ability like meta or smt) and it could be a great way to strategize with your team abt what abilities to use
