in the wiki page for masteries, there's this segment, titled "Restrictions"
in which, it shows which abilities that the people behind AW don't want masteries for.
all you haters want an excuse ("erm... its a phase ability and thats all that matters, not your suggestion!") for me to not suggest masteries

Phase abilities do not get masteries as they are already a pain in the ass if used correctly
It has an extremely specific use in the restrictions, and that's it. But based on its use, I believe that a "Phase Ability" is a scaling ability. You know what else is a scaling ability? Army Mastery! You specifically made a mastery that scales! "But Army itself doesn't scale!" That's not the point, if being a "Phase Ability" (AKA scaling ability) is the only thing that's stopping me from suggesting Hivemind Mastery... Again! to the game, then SCALING IS THE WHOLE POINT OF HIVEMIND! IT DOESN'T MATTER!

Also masteries can be scale abilities, but if an ability is a scale ability when it's not mastery, it won't get a mastery

I was thinking about hive minions having an ability damage debuff (0,8×) while gaining a lifesteal boost and 10% active ability damage resistance
And add AI minions already

ok here's something i cooked up on the spot:
- hivemind minions keep their abilities but have 70 max hp
- hivemind minions become faster when near hivemind
- hivemind minions can infect (only with punches)
- hivemind starts out with 80 max hp and an E move
- as more minions get infected, hivemind gains up to 175 max HP, their E gets enhanced, they gain a Q, and a speed boost capping out at +6 walkspeed
- hivemind E and Qs are same as currently, but with enough infects hivemind E becomes a dash

We remove the hitbox advantage (and player size changes), and only change:
Aura color
Size of tentacles
Movement speed
adding hivemind minion abilities
new abilities
health increases
punch damage
kills:
Blood shots could be at 5 kills. (Maybe it could be used to buff hivemind minions, and deal decent damage to enemies, but requires aim.)
15 kills, you'd gain the climbing ability (that lasts for around 10 seconds.)

Normal hivemind, but your movement speed and damage could be slightly upgraded (Movespeed: 20 - 22) (Aura: slight aura coming from spikes) (Health: 70 - 80) (Punch damage: 12 - 15)
-Minions always have 75 health
PHASE TWO: 5 - 10 infects
Spikes explode into tentacles, you unlock the Q (blood shots, can slow and deal damage to enemies, along with buffing minions.) and minions unlock an E. (They can now lunge towards the host, being a meatshield and damaging players)
(Movespeed: 23 - 26) (Aura: hivemind aura + music) (Health: 81 - 100) (Punch damage: 16 - 25)
PHASE THREE: 11 - 19 infects
minions unlock their Q, which allows them to explode, causing a red shockwave. (dealing 10 damage to themselves. If the shockwave hits another hivemind minion, they explode too, dealing 10 damage to themselves. The shockwave deals 15 damage to all non members of the hivemind.)
(Movespeed: 27 - 30) (Aura: lots of smaller tentacles coming from the main body.) (Health: 101 - 120) (Punch damage: 26 - 30)
PHASE FOUR: 20 infects
you unlock the R, which allows you to use all of your tentacles to speed around and climb very fast for around 10 seconds.
(Movespeed: not changed) (Aura: it's more of a red and black color, with sort of like.. lightning bolts coming from you..? + new music) (Health: 150) (Punch damage: 35)
E ability: (all phases) shoot a long spike which pierces through your enemy, dealing decent damage and stun.
