Why barrier should have a mastery

Barrier SOUNDS like a good defensive ability, but in reality all it is is a half defensive half I don’t even know anymore ability that can easily be countered if you are able to wait for 8 seconds and dodge a predictable wall.

Therefore, this mastery aims to improve it’s current moves so that it’s a viable option ingame rather than a space that needs to be filled in the lobby

Obtainment:

E/Shield

Your character immediately summons a shield and hold it in front of them, being able to soak up 54 dmg before breaking.

During this state, you are noticeably slower. You are still able to take dmg from behind you.

(CD: 20)

E (HOLD)/Barrier Orb

Your character creates a spherical barrier around itself. It can soak up 100 hp, but essentially traps you inside as well.

Projectiles that hit it will be slowed down and deal less dmg.

(CD: 32)

Q/Barrier Crush

Raises your hands up as you summon 4 walls that are exactly 10 studs away from your Crosshair. After 1.5 seconds, the walls close into each other, dealing dmg to anyone squished inside.

You are able to dodge this attack by squeezing past the walls.

(CD: 20)

Q (HOLD)/Barrier Cage

Summon a large cage above you.

Upon letting go of Q, you command it to drop down, stunning everyone under it for 5 seconds.

(CD: 20)

R/Ally protection

Summons a barrier orb, before throwing it at your cursor/crosshair, guarding players that it touches.
