Started revs last night for the first time, I'm killing the two orc spawns in the middle of the caves with craws bow unskulled. Is this a decent way of farming the log slots? I tried dragons but the kill times seemed quite a bit longer for only a marginal increase in drop rate
I know being skulled doubles drop rates but I'm pretty sure I get more than x2 the kills per hour anyway without PKers attacking me. And I like to bank every 20mins anyway, doesn't take long to run back

definitely should skull, and you should also wait for the weapon rates to be buffed by 50% since that should be happening in the next couple months
orcs are fine, but i think it's one of the worst for pkers. Hellhounds/pyres and demons/cyclops are decent alternatives that probably have fewer

Yeah I was at orcs for 2 hours yesterday and saw about 50 PKers, but I didn't get attacked by a single one
I assume if you don't have a skull then you're not worth their time
I can move to one of the new spots you suggested and see how many turn up there

Maybe you were extraordinarily lucky for them not to attack. They normally don't care if you're skulled or not cuz they're unlikely to smite your craws. Most of the loot is from the loot you get so they'd just be hitting everyone hoping they get some nice 1m loots from people who were there for a little bit. Definitely worth it to skull, and should probably wait for update

Skulled Rev killers have 0-1 valuables, unskulled have 3-4

They do prioritize skulled players because they're somewhat better loot, but also skulled players tend to have an Avarice which is guaranteed extra loot, and they sometimes risk an item to anti-pk with. In general yes you are attacked slightly more often when skulled, but that's only a consideration when a pker logs in and has multiple targets to choose from
The increase in log item drop rates is definitely worth the extra aggression though. If you are ready to get back quickly after teleporting you will complete your log significantly faster
Plus who's going to turn down the chance to try and smite for craws? Happens to the best of us
5head move you can start grinding now for emblems because those will be unaffected by the update, but literally everyone and their venezuelan grandmothers will be in the cave the minute it's updated to buff weapon rates
