Hey, I am currently testing my crowdsec configuration by launching vulnerability scans (with nikto) against my own server and check if the alerts and decisions work. Since I've enabled the CAPI, does this mean my testing/bans are shared to the CAPI and might get my IP banned from other machines protected by Crowdsec? And if yes, can I prevent this (maybe by temporarily disabling sharing to CAPI)?

Before an IP can be included in a blocklist, it needs to be reported by enough trusted users, from various locations.
If you are the only one reporting your IP, you have nothing to worry about
Okay, thanks for the info. Still, would temporarily setting api.server.online_client.sharingto false prevent the signal from going out at all?
yes it would
do not forget to reenable it afterwards tho, as you will get a very restricted version of the community blocklist if you do not share anything and are using the free console plan
