Open the file
Then type in “-availablevidmem (however megabytes of vram you have on your gpu)”
So for example
-availablevidmem 12288
sorry for the dumb question as im new to pc and modding, but where do i create a commandline file?
Create it where the game is (GTAIV.exe) also sorry for late reply
no worries and thank you for replying. sadly my dumbass is still confused lol. is it possible i can pay you for your time to get this issue fixed? considering i have no experience
Send a screenshot of where all your mods are
For example where ZolikaPatch.asi is
It should be in a folder called GTAIV
That’s the same place you open your game correct?
If it is then right click the black area
basically the empty space to the right of your files
then press new and then text file
and name it "commandline.txt"
dont include the .txt part
then open the txt file and write this
when i click new, there is no text file option, only text document. same thing?
yup same thing
ok ok, just did it
did you put in the amount of vram your gpu has?
i can show you how to find that
if you dont know how
my gpu has 16 gb of vram unless i have to be specific then idk exactly how much
here ill show you how to find it
go to the settings app
then press system (it should be on the left sidebar)
then display
then advanced display
then display adaptor properties for whatever display you have
should say something like this
dedicated video memory?
yes
whatever that number is write it like this
"-availablevidmem number"
in the text document
yeah
it worked, thank you so much brother
