thats what happens when u buy it from rgl
That's what happens also when you don't make a backup before you downgrade

backup isnt really needed, downgrader is proven to be consistent
it's just that rgl and steam like to fuck it up, you just have to move your game folder out of the default location
to somewhere safeer
turning it off doesn't change much
it'll still update when u launch it through the launcher
