Hi everyone! I'm coming back to valorant and i'm at a beginner level. I watched and tried to apply the gold routine and the movement/gun hygene guides. Can anyone give me some pointers on what i'm doing wrong/can work on? If you guys got more drills to fix my specific issues it'd be amazing to hear your feedback on those too. Thanks guys ❤️

(if anyone has any idea how to fix audio it'd be good too lmao)

Honestly? The gold routine is working just fine for you keep at it and don't forget to implement those fights into your Ranked games. If you want more input on gunfight theory watch the gunfight hygiene video. Also when you have to scale at an angle in front of you that is a threat make sure to move diagonally to unswing it if possible and change directions the second someone peaks while you are moving diagonally (you don't need to go backwards just change the sideward motion).

Sorry if i ping you but i dont really understand a thing about the overaim drill, and that is how i should use it in my games. So the three main parts of the drill are:
-Move to the opposite direction of the bot
-overflick
-adjust with movement
Is this an optimal way to approach a gunfight? when i see an opponent should i try to do this (so keeping the opposite direction thing) or should i do something else? I know that underflicking is better than overflicking (or so i understood) so wouldnt this exercise get you unoptimal muscle memory (since if you're used to moving in the opposite direction, an underflick would completely get your cursor away from the target)?

but the movement you practiced is the harder one of over or underflicking you you will use it in fights but you shouldn't force it as a deliberate movement it's more like it helps you with an often done motion and if helps with your mousecontroll and your movement aim coalition.
