I was gold last act but i find myself hardstuck silver rn. In this game i felt like my mechs were pretty decent. We were up a 6-0 lead but everything went downhill from there. I did match mvp so i was wondering what more i can do to carry my team. I am open to all advice and feedback about anything. Thanks, in advance for any tips!

Okay I just looked at your tracker and holy that is a crazy tracker. You have more than triple my hours already this act 😭. One thing I’ll say is you can rank up playing only like 2-4 games a day and playing more can actually make you lose more because your drained but also it’s just unhealthy. I would limit yourself to less games

0:52 im unsure why you smoke A here. Its like not awful especially in silver since we have two smokes but you will just need to be careful about using your smokes too carelessly
1:00 unsure why you didn't smoke b main here especially after yoru died. since you and deadlock are running down mid to flank it would be okay to slow them down from entrying where they will have numbers advantage against your skye and raze
2:10 peeking mid here is actually pretty bad. you have spectre and they could have marshal or sheriff which would give them advantage here so i would've just jump peeked.
2:26 I wouldn't have pulled out blind here. Your teamates are fighting the sage its a lot quicker to just join them in the fight
2:30 kind of an odd tp imo. if the sage was there still she could've just right clicked you. Its not throwing the round by any means but it might throw away a gun for your bonus.

3:48 I heavily disagree with this blind. Its easier to just peak the person already fighting your teamate. if you minimap refrag, which you should be doing, its a free kill and you can tuck then blind or smoke after to get out

5:00 at this point you've done the same thing every round but i think you need to practice your angle holding technique. You sort of aim into the wall and its hard to tell if your playing for info or playing for a kill which at this point in the game I would just play for the kill in an off angle because they don't really contest it so your just looking for a lurker
5:30 your holding an info angle but then you fire shots giving away your position for no reason. If you want to shoot, you need to hold wider especially down here in silver.
6:11 your kind of just unsure of what to do here. you run back and forth, pull out util. Decide something, don't just waste valuable time. If you lack info jump peek, jiggle, etc, or maybe try to get with raze and play with her.
6:38 I love the aggressive blind and tp. Its risky but that helps you learn when its good and when its not.

9:20 for the next 30 seconds i can tell you don't look at your minimap and you probably should. The minimap is really helpful and instead of sitting in a corner you could see your raze jiggling mid and periodically getting info on people but also not seeing people for a while. You could peek off her jiggles using minimap for a free kill
9:45 im actually okay not trading here because the raze kind of baits for you. like to be clear you should've peeked like 20 seconds before or done something else but its fine now
10:37 at this point in the vod you've done the same thing 7 rounds in a row in the beginning of the round. You run to A link. Its not bad but its really predictable and omen is useful in other parts of the map but you should also be responding to the opponent and how they play. Additionally you never pre-round any plans so that should be something to work on

At 2:30 i was looking at the minimap and saw that sage was in link going to A. Thats why i tped and i thoutht it was risk free (and it was 5v1 so i was just having some fun)
5:00 ur right about the angle thing i was just trying something out. I saw a tiktok that if u hold a pixel angel, u shoot the wallbang when u see them on the minimap. I was just trying it out lol.

Pretty much xD.
You can spent like 20-30 mins training mechs in range and then play 3-5 DMs, then just play 2-5 Comp games. That's usually what has recommended to me by other folks here.

I mean they looked fine. Sometimes you rush your shots a little or panic but it’s not super common. Your mechs are def better than silver 2

Yeah your mechs look fine to me. The biggest thing is probably minimap usage and knowing what’s to do with that info especially minimap refrag. That’ll help your individual performance. To help your team win more game it will be your smokes and knowing when to throw them. When I look at your tracker I see a consistent fragger but not a high win percentage so I’m assuming this is what’s holding you back most. Controllers have a lot of things they can do that help their team win games and not just solo carry. When I play omen I get a lot of compliments on my good blinds and using my smokes to help teammates get unstuck or just help them in a difficult situation

Yea. Are u tryna say that i kinda use my util too selfishly. Like imo, i know when and how to throw a good smoke, but i would only do it when I need it.
Also i feel like i try to assist my team with blinds, its just that i feel like i always get more value when i use it for myself, but thats just what i feel. Especially because i feel like i save it too much for my flash tp plays cuz i dont like dry tping.

Not exactly. It’s okay to use util selfishly but you have to know if it’s better to use it selfishly or to use it for team based on the situation. The smokes thing though needs to be used for team almost always. Saving flash for flash tp plays is okay, somtimes. It also means you sometimes won’t use it in a different instance when it would get more value
