Hey dude — just to start off, I’ll say I’ve only peaked Ascendant, but I definitely know my Reyna, so I feel like I can give you a decent review.
This VOD was full of inconsistencies. To be blunt, I don’t think you currently have the skillset to get full value out of Reyna at your rank. As you probably know, Reyna’s strength comes from well-timed aggression, confident ego plays, and strong mechanical and aim. And that just wasn’t there consistently in this game.
Your gameplay felt really passive at times — Round 4 stood out in particular. That round was way too passive for a Reyna. On retakes, you’ve got to flash for yourself or for your team to help break through — but more often than not, you just sat behind a teammate, essentially baiting them without contributing. It was rough to watch, but it has to be said.
To play Reyna effectively at Diamond+ you need to not only be confident in your aim, but also know when and where to get aggressive, especially on defense. In this match, you didn’t really take space or create pressure effectively.
Overall, your struggles this game didn’t come down to aim — they came down to poor decision-making and minimal ability usage. That’s what really held you back here.
Honestly, you should start seriously considering a different agent pick. Locking Reyna is already tough — she’s a selfish pick by design, and if you’re not consistently fragging out, her impact drops off hard. She brings almost nothing in terms of team utility, setups, or synergy with other agents.
Reyna isn’t flexible, and she doesn’t offer much unless you’re mechanically ahead of the lobby. Right now, your decision-making and ability usage just don’t justify the pick. You’re putting a lot of pressure on yourself to carry, without giving your team much to work with if it doesn’t go perfectly.
