I'm on the brink of crying as this feels impossible. I'm trying my hardest to win and the aim calmly. I just want to win some Dms. My notes from hooj are:
General

  • Aim technique is costing your fights that you really should be converting; this game was a 13/9 off of those merits alone.
    • Aim past moving targets to contain them
    • Aim more smoothly when having to take wider shots
      Defense
    • Plans against potential enemy rushes leave a lot to be desired, try to work on these
    • Play around your operator a lot more vocally, your goal is to maximize their odds of finding a good line that an enemy is likely to peek
      Offense
  • I expect you to have a read on the enemy team by round 5.
    • Who peeks what agressively?
    • How fast do they rotate?
    • What space do they frequently contest?
    • Remember, a large majority of players in this game do not give a single shit about ranking up, and are on autopilot. Use this to your advantage.

I'm playing the aimlabs playlist everyday and im on day 48 today. I play dms every day focusing and tryharding to win and aim calmly.

  1. Your dueling pattern is too predictable. You enter a bursting pattern with the exact same tempo every single time. Try to incorporate deadzoning, unilateral deadzone, unilateral bursting, longer strafes, crouching. As of right now your movement feels too much "by the book". It lacks personality and unpredictability.

  2. Your audio spatial awareness is honestly abysmal. I'd suggest checking on your hardware or increasing in game sound effect volume. You're missing too many obvious sound cues for enemy positions.

  3. Your mouse control looks excellent. If you were shooting like this in ranked you wouldn't be D2. This leads me to believe you're panicking in real matches and your technique takes a toll because of it.
