I can't really offer much advice in terms of mechanics/gameplay (I am only Gold after all), but what I can offer advice in, and am quite experienced in, is your mental/tilt (By no means do you have to take my advice, I just see you dealing with something I used to, and want to give you my honest advice). I used to be a pretty big rager and to some degree I still am, but recently I've started seeing help for my mindset to get less salty at games and enjoy them more and play better. If you have the time/availability/funds, I'd highly recommend you look into getting some kind of mental coaching/therapy (there's plenty of services you can find online, even gaming-centric ones). When you tilt/get salty/rage, you play worse. Your mind is too busy thinking about what you're angry about to get into a flow state and start fragging out and making plays. My read is that you lost a couple unlucky fights at the start of the match and/or got upset with your teammates' planning, you got upset, and proceeded to play sub-optimally the rest of the match. Valorant is as much of a mental game as it is a mechanical one. You very obviously have quite good mechanical skills by the few kills you got at the start of the match and in the following DM, but if you're busy tilting, you're going to play worse, get killed, get more tilted, etc. I think if you learn to control that process and prevent it/lessen it, you'll start to see a big difference (it helped me quite alot). I mean no harm in saying any of this, I just legitimately believe that, like myself, if you put some time and effort into improving your mental, you'll begin to see a lot better results in your play simply due to better mentality and outlook, and you'll be a lot happier with your performance. Whatever your decision/path, i wish you the best, and good luck on your journey hoojSalute

I know it's a touchy topic and/or hard to talk about, but I promise it does wonders. Staying focused and happy is the #1 thing you can do for yourself in all aspects of life, especially something as stressful as Valorant. Best of luck friend hoojHeart

My therapy hasn’t really worked but maybe I’m just asking the wrong questions or something or I’m bad at implementing it

#

Or remind myself of my notes I took during therapy

Yeah making sure to remind yourself of your notes is pretty important. I usually keep a sticky notes tab on my 2nd monitor open with all of my notes for the week and I try to look at it every round to remind myself of what to work/focus on. I think it helps alot. If that doesn't work, switching therapists might also help. Not everyone works in the same way and maybe you need a different approach

#

Not sure how easy it would be for you to get a new person. For my place/service I can request a new person pretty easily

I mean I don’t think it’s my therapists fault at all I like them

#

It’s my fault for not really implementing it well

In that case I'd definitely recommend trying some different things to help you remember your notes. Keep it by your desk/computer, keep a copy of it open on a second monitor, etc. One thing that I've found that works for me (though it's mostly a silly inside joke with my friends) is to add a picture to it of a moderately annoyed-looking character from a series I like. Having that face stare at me from my second monitor really helps me to pay attention to the notes sitting underneath it. You just gotta try to keep them in mind so as to not let your mind wander down bad paths and forget all of your progress.

You hold way too close too often, It's like that thing with off angles Hooj was talking about on stream recently. If you're in a off angle usually it is more benifical to hold a bit wider because they will not expect you there and swing wider by mistake. But you generally seem to be almost looking into the wall or really close to the edge. And it causes you to die quite a few times. Sometimes you seem too eager to shoot, like you shoot before your crosshair is on them as well (Maybe give the DM practice Hooj recommends a try(I can't find the video D:)). You also seem to do something I do a lot as well when you tilt you become quieter and stop doing pre round calls (I'm working on it myself too) In my opinion you play attack to passive, you dash on site and stuff first but for example a lot of the time when you go A you just updraft on rubble and just sit there. What's the pathing? Why are we just chilling up here?

I think I play passive cause I can’t win gunfights
