Alright, so I've watched the entire attack half so far and I have one question

#

Your attack side was extremely repetitive

#

Every single time, you were smoking mid and the enemy knew that

#

you saw that they were reconning and spamming you all the time

#

you were almost always in uncomfy positions with your positioning

#

Your mechanics are completely fine, crosshair placement is good too. You're just playing it in a very stale way. See your compe, you have a phoenix, breach, viper, sage. Just you, phoenix and breach contesting any site with your util and sage planting would have been extremely easy

#

but you were forcing yourself to play mid almost EVERY other round

#

did you notice how many times your team was rotating? They were not committing to a site at all. When I used to play omen, I basically tried to become a pseudo duelist, especially on a map like icebox where you can TP on to so many places

Honestly, just try to play with your team instead of getting yourself stuck in mid alone.

just rewatch the vod and see how many times you tried to go mid and died because the enemy knew you were coming there.

When you're doing a split attack or when doing a late lurk

vipers are recommended to lurk because when their wall and orb is down respectively on a site and mid

especially on omen on icebox, you're better off playing with your team as a duelist

you can take so many off angles with your TP

but yeah with an aggro comp like yours which basically excels on post plant, play with your team

no need to lurk on attack every round

its obv different with viper, but with omen? controlled aggression is the key

lmao my omen on defense was basically take off angles and hold my paranoia to stop em from attacking or use it for retake

this is solo omen, mind you

but look at how he changes up shit

he only goes mid once in the first 5 rounds

he's utilizing his team comp of mostly duelists by being aggro with them

watch round 20 and 21 where you died to the chamber

You need to take a bit more of a passive positioning tho, you died to chamber many times where you were essentially standing still in a standard angle

or have a plan to get out

because you're not running into them, they're running into you

#

i loved the rounds where you basically threw a smoke onto the site you were holding and then just got 2k/3k

and did you notice the value you got by pushing B in OT?

you got the entire site of B to yourself just because you didnt push mid

if you hadnt panicked there, im pretty sure that was a win

  1. Don't autopilot on your peeks and just tunnel vision. Take your time with your peeks and shots.

  1. change your strats up a bit on attack, go different places, do different teleports. Be more flexible with your ult

  1. coordinate with another person on defense to hold or retake
#

paranoia is really good for retakes or holding sites in general
