the power is light fuel from oilsands and its all stored in a steel tank multiblock

Currently I have no dedicated lines (besides light fuel) and I just kinda bulk craft by hand using the barrels but I'm thinking about making a dedicated circuit line in hv since I doubt 4 stacks of bulk crafted hv circuits will last me all of hv like I managed for mv

They will last you a while, it's more MV circuits and components that'll be the bottleneck at hv due to their use in ae2

The only lines that you'd need would be polyethylene and cobbleworks.

In renewable resources tab there is a line that starts with cobblestone

And gives you aluminium, silicon, and sodium

Not at my PC ATM so unfortunately not

But I did drawers between each machine with conveyors pulling from them into the next

#

So I always had a drawer for cobble, gravel, sand, dust, and clay.

And then I used a superchest for each of the big outputs: aluminium, sodium, and silicon

I just made a direct line for now im sure it will be sufficient as it's gonna be fully passive with steam power

So I doubt efficiently will be a big deal till hv ore processing

At least adding a buffer for sand and maybe clay can really save some trouble when you need to make a bunch of glass or bricks, although you could just buy the clay if needed

I made my clayline the same way too, but then I got reminded that there is nothing more permanent than a temporary solution

I'll definitely keep that in mind because yeah there's a good chance I never end up changing the line if I make it fully independent

Unless its laggy I could probably just spam a bunch of them till I make enough passive steam to power it

Since it's gonna be renewable I want it to be as passive as I can make it so I can just forget about it and just grab what I need when I need

One thing you could do is setup a greenhouse to produce fuel for a large bronze boiler and use that to power both steam turbines and the steam machines

#

Solar works fine as well, I just haven't touched it so idk how much you'll need.

My partner set it up to be totally passive with its own greenhouse running spruce logs

So I think it's better to make it independent rather than taking from another system

Also you won't need sticky resin once you're in hv

#

Especially with the higher tier of MV and LV circuits

What would the best pipes to use for this be? So far I've just been using huge bronze and large tin alloy for everything

I'm thinking about extruding huge stainless steel but I dunno if it's a good investment

I just used huge bronze

Didn't see a reason to use bigger until steel boiler

And that was only to run MV turbines

And we used aluminium pipes

Also we used tin item pipes for that side of things

It didn't need to be fast since it was passive

Once you hit HV it's worth starting to consider gt supercon

#

At Ev it's worth and at IV it's a joke to use the Moni one

The gt supercon does significantly more transfer

Like at hv vibrant does 32A at 16x and the gt supercon does 64A

At Ev the gt supercon (uranium triplatinum) does 96A

100% pipes still have their place but it's mostly local, on site stuff

Also, if you can afford to do it I highly recommend putting an ebf at the end of your cobbleworks to autosmelt the aluminium into ingots

#

You can have the dust in a superchest and the ingots in a drawer so you don't eat all the dust.

Imo, it's best to run cobbleworks on high pressure steam machines or LV machines
