#USE FORGE TAGS

???
Uhhhhhh
Sure I can make a PR for that when I get home
Idk if it'll be merged tho that's up to xef and withers
this guy wants a universal circuit but for rubber
from the point you start making styrene butadiene, you will never change recipes so it's kinda redundant and the assembler recipes would also use different types of rubber
^^and amounts of rubber.
no not that
the recipes that require specifics will remain the same
just the generic ones will have the forge tag
as long as you start making styrene butadiene rubber, you will use it for absolutely everything
its more qol then a recipe change
early game it is kinda annoying because you will eventually change the recipes to the better rubber
but doesnt make that big of a difference
its so the recipes are less confusing
as in you dont have to go in and see it
just paste it
or hover
that seems like a valid reason, whether or not they will apply it idk
If you looked closely in EMI/JEI, you may discover that this is 90% of the recipes, and nearly all of the generic ones already do use a forge tag.
The exception to this seems to be Conveyors, but forge tags don't work with Fluids in the GT recipe system at all.
If you can somehow find recipes that use different types of e.g. Rubber ITEMS but uses the same amount of each then share them.
same results, same quantities only difference is the cable type (fine/normal) and carbon dust( carbon/coal)
idk anyone who would willingly use the bottom recipe intentionally
All of those recipes, alongside their Assembler counterparts, are base GregTech: Modern recipes.
Your suggestion would have the most reach if it were reported to the devs who made those recipes instead.
