👀 but how
Foundry
Why so many tunnels?
Faster
Can do the same with iron to nickel
Merging outputs of all the casting tables to a single beltline
Ah, makes sense
This is pretty cool, I never saw that recipe for Zinc, the recipe seems very expensive compared to just buying the zinc with trade station automation tho
How so? Gold is essentially free via create methods
Coins are also very easy to automate, the size and number of machines required to buy the zinc would likely be much smaller than a typical gold farm for the same rates,
You should show your set up for the gold prodution, mabye I am just mega bad at making them.
I'll have to screenshot it, but basically I am using igneous extruder for for cobble generator, crushing wheels to turn it into gravel and then sand, trashing flint and clay via drawer below the belt with a void upgrade, then haunting (fan and soul campfire below belt blowing up) before a drawer for soul sand, then washing soul sand to get gold nuggets and quartz
My iron farm is similar but was built before I had igneous extruders so it's a more standard create drill system but with millstone below where the stone generates so the cobble goes straight into the millstones to make gravel, chutes drop gravel into the path of a washing fan that blows the gravel/nuggets into a funnel for collection, flint is trashed
Doesn't the terracotta method have better rates?
It does, just a longer processing path
Wash sand into clay, compact to clay blocks, cook, crush into red sand, wash red sand
I went with the more compact setup for me since it's just a background farm and more than meets my needs
Fair, I just dropped a zombie pigman in a smelter with harm2 spikes for my gold because breaking Geneva conventions is fun
