we already had that and it got removed lol

Why would it even be useful?

XLCRs were removed because they were, to put it bluntly, completely useless

  • lcr: perfect oc so 4x power -> 4x speed
  • xlcr: parallels so 4x power -> 4x throughput
  • lcr: has perfect subtick overclock, meaning it can still run faster past 1t recipe times
  • xlcr: does not perfect subtick in favor of parallels
  • subtick overclocks round down in recipe time

bruh its still useful, i want more buses and hatches on my chem reactor and use para hatches instead several large cr

How would more parallel hatches be better? Perfect OC is the same thing if not better

#

More buses/hatches on a single multi block is interesting requirement, but why is that necessary? What problem are you solving that can’t be solved with more LCRs?

trying to use that thing on demand, and depositing items into it with different distinct buses with set circuit settings

If an XLCR were simply made of 8 regular LCRs arranged 2x2x2, would that be good enough for you? My point is that if the only problem is the number of buses or hatches, and not how the multi block actually processes stuff, I don’t see how a larger multi block that can only handle one recipe at a time is better. You’ll still get the same number of buses or hatches. I suppose you’ll save on energy hatches, but that’s a non issue really
