first EV circuit
nice!
is the steam grinder worth using at that stage of the game ? never tried it
i woulda thought the HV / EV stuff would be better
I use it for crushing ingots to dust, but hv for ore processing
Steam grinder is a bit faster than HV but no byproducts, so it’s better if you don’t need those
upgraded titanium production (both at IV power) (2025/2/15)
alloy blast smelter (2025/2/8)
hss-g abs (idk when)
there's gotta be a better passive hydrogen setup right (2025/2/15)
You have the LCR, the best way for hydrogen is through 2 LCRs, one makes methane from C + H2, and the other turns methane + water to hydrogen + CO2. You can then electrolyze the CO2 or get carbon from carbon monoxide.
The reason it's so good is the LCR has perfect overclocks, so you can load it up with EV 16a hatches and they are just as energy efficient as the LV machines.
What you have here is bad, you're wasting energy by using EV centrifuges (they are less energy efficient) and you should be getting the methane from oil
there is a better way to make hydrogen (2025/2/17) (thanks for the tip lol)
So what I did from here is put a tank that limits how much hydrogen it makes to a super tank. same with methane. Then storage bus on those tanks. You can also stick a machine controller and a level emitter on the LCRs. either way, you make methane until you have enough, and make hydrogen until you have enough. And then once it has a limit, I put 16a EV hatches on the machines, so they make it really really fast until hitting the limit. that way you have a nice full tank of hydrogen and methane.
