Oh, interesting! Thanks for the info.
I browsed a bit from there, and haha: https://github.com/ThePansmith/Monifactory/pull/2030#issuecomment-3235808186
#General "Is this Intended?" Thread
1 messages · Page 5 of 1
It's a bit annoying it's still there after more than a year. I guess it's "only" a nice display feature that they could make possible to switch off on some modpacks.
Terbium solution processing line doesn't seem to be a loop even though it looks like its intended to be
Has a net production of chlorine and a net negative of calcium
This recipe gives 1 chaff, not 2, with LV and MV. I think it's because the second plant-ball is considered a byproduct. Is this intended? It doesn't really feel right. Compressing the balls is already a major pain at lower tiers. It feels like it should be rewarded if you do it this early. Especially since it doesn't change progression, and there are 2 balls.
this is a gtm issue
%t gtmi
Report issues and/or missing features for GT Modern to the repo so they can be fixed.
if it wasn't intended, why not return two in the first output in the first place?
if it wasn't a byproduct, it would have been 2 in the same slot
probably intended, but who knows, maybe not
i'm pretty sure that's intended yeah
is this intended?
no reason to do it in assembler
you'll also see that in gratings
why
im gonna go complain
wait until you hear about every pre ass line motor, robot arm, piston..
at least those have reasonable times and voltages
10 seconds at iv is wild
probably because these recipes were created long before the crafter existed, and even then, a crafter is harder to automate
think about standalone gt
Multiblock assemblers in the late game. They craft 512 frames at once, and at UV it's usually in 2 ticks
Back in nomi I re-coded all my recipes to use the assembler. It was faster than auto bench crafting in molecular assemblers
Matrix
We got matrix
Idk how fast that is. The lazyAE crafting multiblock in nomi was slower than 256 parallel assembler
Assembler matrix is insanr
hundreds of recipes at the same time all running at 5x accel card speed
I am going to assume there's a config that disables the regular crafting recipe
you can theoretically play base GT with no AE at all
the assembler is easier to scale if just by giving it a bigass input hatch and placing a trillion ingredients in it
I believe all components that you need at scale have assembler recipes?
There is no reward for reaching IV circuits (or any of the following ones). From LV to EV included, you had a reward of +5 XP levels.
I mean, I get that it's not that useful of a reward, but why drop it midgame?
Is it intended that a Numismatic boiler produces energy at a much lower rate?
The Numismatic dynamo gives 2500 RF/t
The Numismatic boiler gives enough steam at 140mB/t
While the basic charcoal burner boiler also produces steam at 140/t
But the steam dynamo gives 40RF/t
It just seems weird that the rate doesn't scale up.
Sorry if this has been gone over, but EMI Crafting Tree recipe mode is not picking up any of the items in my AE2 storage. Not sure if this is intended or fixable, I've gotten so used to using it with my crafting station setup. Not the biggest deal, but would be nice to be able to do it.
Thank you!!!
if you need emi crafting tree when you have ae2 maybe you should rethink some life choices
but that's not for me to judge...
And rush autocrafting
oh didnt notice
I mean I don't need it, but I've gotten used to using it
That's uhhhh
Fabric
unless the mod dev put the wrong mod loader in lol

another one was found thats for forge, going to test it out. https://gitlab.com/talchas/ae2-emi-crafting-forge
nice
stone button with water in cutter is cheaper faster and uses less energy to produce 4x the amount than using distilled or lubricant??
that sounds an awful lot like someone forgor
it also can't be done by hand, which fair enough, but then making a lever is apparently only craftable by hand which seems a bit strange
They are all procedurally genned lol
Cutter recipes
Prismatic Crucible icon is missing, version 0.13.3
does this problem persist on a world restart or game restart?
Game restart fixed it, weird
Yeah I've noticed that myself a few times
Wacky greg thing I think but nothing to worry about
Just visual
but then why are they so inconsistent
it like reeks of them all being procgenned except for the one with water
only HV item/fluid passthrough blocks are craftable but the entire range of voltages are listen in EMI and the recipe tree defaults to LV
you don't need any pass through hatches - just use an LV machine hull to get AE2 into the clean room
jokes on you I'm not using ae2
I like the greg logistics
and the ae2 conduits are ugly
let's see how far you can get without ae2
Post updates regularly I want to see when your head explodes
eh if I eventually have to use it so be it, but for now I'm having lots of fun building a mess of pipes and wires
I did also make one exception so I could set up an amethyst farm for passive steel. but once I get to mm I can throw all that away
oh minor possible bug, if you have an ender hook active when you teleport through a waystone you'll go flying off towards where you hooked
not a big deal
this also works when using the gateway portals in the end btw. very funny to just start flying as soon as you teleport
the gtm devs tried a moni run without using patterns (not even full ae2-less) and gave up so good luck with that lmao
so I've been told
I am failing to see the link between amethyst and steel. What am I missing?
oh, is it to get the 1/5th of iron? you play withouth HNN for infinite iron or something like that?
expert mode doesn't have hnn
This looks weird
That's what the recipe is tbf
what does it even do? it seems to give nothing in retrun and it doesnt even use a miner
Changes machine state
Says so quite clearly
New type: Normal
ah
I found a sheldonite vein in the end.
EMI pretends it should have palladium ore (50% as frequent as sheldonite in the vein, if I read this "chance" properly), but I had none (and I have several hundreds of the other ores).
Is this intended? should I try finding more veins?
I mean, I don't need Palladium at the moment, and I guess its dust can be obtained through other ways, but I was surprised so I report it
Ferroboron ingots say "Disabled item" but not only can you make them, you have to in order to make a t5 microminer.
what component specifically needs them?
doesn't the fission reactor controller need them
Yeah, it's the fission reactor controller, it's just buried a few levels of dependencies deep. The direct item that calls for it is the Tough Alloy Ingot.
it's a rare ore in the vein
I emptied two veins and only got like 150 palladium ore compared to several thousand of the other ores
you're mainly supposed to get palladium as side drop from ore processing or doing platline AFAIK
tuff cant be turned into tuff dust ?
Indeed, it's quite rare, but in the vein I encountered, there wasn't a single one. I've since found veins where there is some, so it was maybe a single occurrence. Maybe some minerals are only there after a certain depth inside their own vein, and that end island was not deep enough and the vein was cut short, I dunno.
Odd, ive always gotten 100s of raw palladium
Wait did moni nerf the vein
Grr
i found out that if you arc furnace the maintenance hance you get more resources than you actually use, you get 16 steel instead of 9 but if including the wrought iron, 11 and you get 2 tin instead of 1 tin
(expert mode) the quest for wrought iron requires the molds quest, but iron nuggets (and therefore wrought iron) can be crafted directly?
Is threshhold export bus bugged? I can't select more than 64 items
also is it intentional that mining hammers take 10 durability for each mine and not 9?
no but its a greg bug
ok
im on expert mode, this recipe gives 4 raw ore blocks. the 3 vanilla ones can downcraft back into 9x raw ore but the raw tin cant?
why did they not remove vanilla unpack recipes
Robot arm cannot be applied to a pull side of a dual input hatch
fusion reactor outputting to the wrong output hatch
does coloring not work on donuts?
output hatches do not care about color, do they?
just lock extra hatches with water
They do
In gtm 7.5.2
i had to do that
but its so annoying
coloring should solve that
yeah
what version is gtm on moni 13.3
i feel like electrical steel should have a circuit number, it conflicts with graphene + tungstensteel
noted
although you should prob just use an alloy smelter /j
ok so xefyr says to use blocking mode
I do but blocking mode allow same is bugged
uhh @eternal vault wanna help them?
just don't use allow same for now and multiply patterns for parallel instead
theres a hidden quest thats preventing me from completing the chapter :(
Ender eyes still have the vanilla recipe (in NM) making the end accessible in MV
If it's NM only that's fine. If it's also in HM that would be problematic.
Hm has the vannila recipe but blaze powder is hv
Doesnt change anything really
Blaze powder is blaze rod crushing from HNN tho?
Also
Lost Cities brewing stands can be downcrafted into a blaze rod.
Dang lost cities, but anyways doesnt the cake need other hv stuff too
It might yeah. Is Black Steel HV?
Forgot my tiny laptop's charger at my gf's and I'm not home for 2 hours so I am very limited on how much I can use it until then.
Black steel needs a mv chemical bath to cool it, whether or not it needs hv ebf to cook it it still feels like mv lol think I "skipped" to the end asap both times I've ran through hm
It needs MV, cupronickel coils. Just checked the KJS files.
Causality Exempt Monic Heavy Plating is researched with itself. I guess its to force using the omniscience research beacon but Ill write this here anyway, in case not
it is to force the ORB yes

That's intended.
It's causality exempt, after all.
another one bites the dust
what concerns me is that not everyone uses discord and can ask that question
there's probably players who are genuinely stuck at this
i'm pretty sure there's a quest that not-very-subtly hints at it
i believe its the quest for the ORB itself
something like "this may be useful for things that can't otherwise be researched" or whatever
Causality Exempt plating is directly connected to the ORB quest for that exact reason.
Tier 4 rocket does not have a Trinium coil requirement (for the dark solarium engines) so I could not make it when I made cryolobus.
There is no way to craft EnderIO Player Tokens and subsequently no way to give clear glass or fused quartz the not solid to players effect
The quest "Muliblock Madness" is unlocked as soon as you can craft all the weird alloys needed in their casings in the Alloy Blast Furnace.
However, to validate the quest, you need to craft a Parallel Control Hatch, the lower of which requires LuV circuits, while at this point you can only craft the IV ones max.
Which is a bit surprising in itself, by the way, as they require the circuit one tier higher than their respective names.
LuV circuits only require nano which is typically unlocked before the ABS though
circuit tiers are not directly tied to progression tiers which is confusing
circuit themes are tied to progression tiers
yes that's why it's confusing, the tiers are labeled by progression tiers but the themes are not
The Alloy Blast Furnace (which is what I assumed you meant by ABS) and the Multiblock Madness quests are in the Scaling up tab, arguably among the last ones.
In this tab, the only circuit from the nano theme is the first one.
I mean, a little bit of back & forth between tabs is not that much of a problem, I was just a bit frustrated that the multiblock quests did not warn me that I could at this stage build the multiblocks, but not really use their paralelizing power
Alloy Blast Smelter, so yes, ABS.
oh, I mixed my naming?
indeed, sorry
ah, Electric Blast Furnace
that's where my mistake comes from
well, the difference between a smelter and a furnace, for a non-native speaker, is tenuous at best 😄
sorry about that
I cant control conveyors (only tested mv) on pipes with redstone using a machine control cover. They only update their redstone state when I right click to check their status, I even tried placing a lever on it but it does nothing.
Are soft mallets mentioned in the QB? Like using them on multis and such
Ah ok my friend had troubles with the steam multiblocks since he said soft mallets weren’t mentioned
First time gregger btw
It's in "the factory" chapter near the alloy smelter
They must’ve missed it then
this cant be right, coke recipe makes creosote, not phenol
aren't there multiple recipes and one of them makes phenol
no, 2 makes creosote, the other makes coal gas
that recipe got changed from outputting Coal Coke to outputting Coal Fly Ash Dust
no the QB still hasn't been updated but they know about it
I can make red steel in cupronickel coil EBF even though EMI says I need kanthal minimum
you might be getting a temperature increase from voltage overclocking that allows you to make it
coil tier is just the max temperature
higher voltage lets you hit those limits
flux capacitors not being upgradable to new tiers anymore
Are upside-down greenhouses supposed to grow crops outside of the multi?
plants just grow towards the sun, that's what they do
It's the funniest bug in existence LMAO.
GTM doesn't have an easy way to force multiblocks to be built upright in KJS
.allowExtendedFacing(false)
Its part of the multiblock builder
Both can use it
And I assume this was only added to the documentation recently?
That with the NON_Y rotation state
Oh its not in the docu lol
I should fix that
Nega told me
No, non_y allows the multiblock orientation shown in the above screenshot
It just disallows the face of the controller to face up or down
Multiblock rotaters gonna cry in anguish in one of the upcoming updates now that I've learned this information
That with
Extended facing false
Both are needed
Ok that was unclear to me until now, thanks for the clarification
I wanted to do docs for multiblock related stuff but onion told me to wait till the rework in 8.0
NOOOOOOOOOOO
WHY DID I SEND THAT SCREENSHOT
Woe is i
I have become death, destroyer of rotated multiblocks
When I update and my sixteen sideways greenhouse break, I will blame you and you alone
now the whole world knows >:3
please noooooo
#2576
I'm glad I have the freedom to not update
crime scene
no fun allowed
I have the freedom to change code
As do you
I can't believe such evil is allowed to exist
Then that is changes I have to maintain if I do update and I'm trying not to repeat my naphtha mode run
these 2 quests being locked to LV while the tool one is free to be done at any tool tier
not everyone needs power storage at LV and it doesnt make any sense to have to make these just for the quest and never use them does it
Same thing as LIO blocking the thermal powergen line when you can just put a converter on a dynamo and not waste resources on LIO sooner than needed (it gets much cheaper after making a bender)
that too
Text on the blast furnace for when you have no outputs is too long
I think that's a GTm bug?
ya probably, ill go post it on their git
cryogenic fluorine?
in the recipes for PE/PVC/PVA/PTFE that use ticl4, is PE supposed to be on a different p-circuit than the other 3? mildly annoying to need an extra input hatch on lcr lol
it makes no sense realistically but sometimes it just be like that
%t realism
the true meaning of GregTech... If that's the true meaning though, why not just play real life?

j*b application 🤮
shouldnt this be a bath recipe?
extended cant take auto complete cards
yea they know i think
idk if they planned on fixing this tho
bruhhh
It's surpriaingly hard to fix.
withers why are you a simp /j
-# if you don't get it read your name quickly
is it intended that light cracking steam and hydrogen are on the same circuit?
Is it normal for frames to become translucent when pipes are added to them?
Interesting. That's the secondary layer only displaying.
you can use spray colored inputs to separate them if you want to do all cracks in the same cracker
i was using a quad hatch for hydrogen and steam, so i just used single out instead of quad out and locked the output
assembly line gratings can either be done in a crafting table or in an iv assembler for 40 seconds with no benefit
The assmebler recipes for many things that can be done in a crafting table are from base Greg.
It's just the config option that disables the crafting table recipe is not enabled.
...actually isn't that the default normally?
Ferroboron has no circuit in the mixer
The steel + boron inputs from these two circuit ONE recipes mix into ferroboron
miserable
this needs a circuit ( can work around it by not using circuit 1 )
circuit 1 makes mud..
no
we've had our mixer constantly have recipes crossing over we jsut clear it and requeue everyhting i just wanted to figure out what it was
The humble blocking mode:
TWO recipes' inputs combining to run a THIRD recipe instead is NOT A RECIPE CONFLICT!
You need to learn to USE BLOCKING MODE!!!
the humble parallel preventer
the whole point of circuits is to prevent this, solution should not be blocking mode rather a recipe update
the humble multiply your recipe
that works but the root cause is a recipe that needs a circuit\
im quite certain this is incorrect. Circuits were added to make sure all recipes were consistently possible by themselves. For example: Recipe 1 requires a + b, while recipe 2 requires a + b + c. In this case, recipe 2 will sometimes just be impossible to run, and circuits were employed to prevent this. The described behavior of recipe 1 + recipe 2 running recipe 3 is not the purpose for circuits existing.
Yep.
There are recipes implemented by Gregtech Modern itself (as in, recipes that Moni does not change at all) that exhibit the behavior PrismaticVoid references.
If you have an issue with this type of behavior, you'd best report it to them directly instead.
One example of this are the mixer recipes for Indium Tin Barium Titanium Cuprate (LuV superconductor) and Bronze.
Circuits were made to prevent the Bronze recipe from running when attempting to run the superconductor recipe.
its not combining refipes though
hold up
dirt + water with circuit1 makes mud. this is a subset of the ingredients for fertilizer which becomes impossible if you try to make it on circuit 1 even though it specifies no circuit
you can work around it by using another circuit, but that would quite literally be the point of the circuits as you said right?
ill take a look over there anyway thought they might have been moni recipes
The trick is to not put these two recipes in the same singleblock mixer, or input bus if you're using a multiblock.
There are ways to avoid every recipe "conflict", you just have to use them.
LuV coils?
yoo uh anyone know what could have caused me to have 600 buckets of dihchlorobenzene even tho i make it nowhere?
Polybenzimidazole?
that's chlorobenzene into nitrochlorobenzene into dihchlorobenzidine
so no dihchlorobenzene
btw is there really no oil cracking IV multiblock
i cant see a parallelable cracker
Biggest bottleneck for transcendental ingot… i have 64 cracker with uev16A and omnium coils and its still not enough sometimes
LCR
make it
the cracker is a gcym multi
it IS the multiblock upgrade
like abs
thats why there is no parallel abs in base gt
there's no singleblock cracker tho
the real thing it brings is lossless cracking
chemical reactor
thats the upgrade yes
the abs is an ebf upgrade but its not 1:1
Given how strong oil is atm, I doubt Moni devs would be itching to give it anything else to be stronger lol. But I'm no Moni dev so idk.
Maybe the actual solution is to not use the cracker in an endgame line?
the solution is not using the machine for the job because the intended gameplay is to spam the same machine we've spammed forever, losing product?
that doesnt make sense
Not An Assline and Mabs was made because the machine for the job was too slow
and they have become some of the most beloved moni multis
I mean the solution is for us devs not to use it.
LCR is lame too for reference.
ah
Advanced microverse type sensor have this as desciption of redstone mode
why it look like that
Is it intended that the rock breaker recipes just aren't usable on the various planets like mars? Should I go report that as a bug?
Specifically, issue is that water freezes near instantly on them.
Which means the recipes which pretty much all need in world water are effectively unusable
Can't you just use the multiblock one?
I mean, you can.
But the multiblock is much more expensive than the singleblock machine
Should they just be gelid cryotheum or something similar to the netherrack recipe being different cause you can't use water in the nether?
plasma generation in jei displaying in EV tier when the plasma turbine starts at IV tier
what? that's just how much power the recipe makes
turbines parallel this recipe
iirc
oh what
GTm bug, no idea why.
Yeah. They parallel the recipe until they reach their EU target value. Like comb gens.
yeah i finally understood that though i have another question now
why is the recipe EV base
you cant put an EV rotor holder on it anyways so its always gonna be 8x paralleled at base
It could be .5s at IV true
No, they are usable.
In an oxygenated environment water does not freeze.
circuitless (C0) recipes conflicting with a recipe with a Programmed Circuit is not a problem unless you're trying to run the C0 recipe in a C1 machine. this is why it's best to separate them.
(idk why Discord put me up there but whatever)
actually
%t add C0 Programmed Circuit Zero (C0 or Circuitless) recipes are recipes that don't require a Programmed Circuit. However, just because you can run these in a machine that has its Programmed Circuit set, does not mean you should, as there can be conflicts. It's best to treat Circuitless recipes as just another Programmed Circuit, hence "C0".
Created tag c0.
enjoy
hey so uh, Neutronium / Enriched Naquadah doesn't provide a speed bonus, it actually just raises the minimum reactor tier by 1 and doubles the MEU required to start, is this intended
i mean it's nbd if it's meant to be the same speed but just using less of the more expensive material but
something about this feels wrong
again if Fusion OC worked as intended it would act the same way it does here anyway
so it probably is intentional but i just wanted to send it because
A. it made me laugh
and B. only you devs know whether or not it was intentional
fusion oc is Wacky
yea true
like i said tho, because it increases the reactor tier required, it would work the exact same way in CEu, with one less OC for all cases
but yea this is funny
is it just meant to increase the reactor tier required, in order to properly handle the Enriched Naqauadah / Neutronium?
yea ik
but yea it was probably intentional but fusion is weird
but yeah i think the idea is just using less of the more expensive material
regardless that's also it
we have both
MoniFusionOC
and
MoniParticleAccelerationOC
so uh
have fun with those
yes i know
but it's just two sheets showing the two tabs
%t moniparticleaccelerationoc
oic
-# also feel free to ping me if there's ever a change in the Fusion recipes
-# this is already based on the 0.13.1 recipes but i don't think anything in either tab changed in 0.13.2 or 0.13.3
ogey
There is no tuff -> tuff dust recipe
damn thats tuff
it is entirely impossible to avoid the nether due to MV emitters requiring a flawless emerald
What about villagers?
that'll get you emeralds but you need flawless emeralds. only way to get those is direct from ore or with an HV machine
okay wait i forgot there are modes besides expert
this is probably an expert mode issue specifically
Ooh wait you'll get those from the ores indeed. Yeah my bad I just woke up i guess
no worries
There's no OW emerald ore?
not that shows up in EMI, just nether and mercury veins, and i certainly haven't found any while wandering around the overworld
yeah i'd assumed that was definitely intentional
just seemed odd flawless emeralds for mv emitters are the only thing you strictly must get from the nether, and then you only need two
You can get antimony from overworld?
Oh right
I mean honestly I'm so used to needing zinc from the nether that I forgot you can skip that.
Realgar is so bad i alwags go to the nether lol
Also ore proccing tin for zinc kinda sucks
Right, right. You can oreproc tin for zinc. This isn't Frontiert, and you don't need zinc before you reach the nether anyways.
But isn't sphalerite (zinc) also good for gallium?
it is, thermal centrifuge recipe
i've been using bauxite from mica veins
i'm not avoiding the nether bc i think it's efficient, i just don't like the nether and wanna see what i can get away with
apparently not many people do that lol
Nether is just kind of necessary anyways.
Only source of netherrack IIRC, and you need it for some recipes.
Plus, lava is kinda neat for T2.5MMs, which are easier to scale than HNN.
lava and dust in a chem reactor makes netherrack
and then you can rock breaker it
at ev, but yknow
(Wait no, T2.5MMs are technically lava positive through magma blocks, right.)
Nether-locked recipe.
But if you use T2.5MM's magma block mission, you get a decent positive magma loop.
In exchange for T2.5 repair mats ofc, which you can HNN easily IIRC.
for a slightly more cursed version, you can synthesize magma from sulfur, carbon, and some plant balls starting in HV, should be something you can set up to run passively
LMAO.
WAIT.
Oh yeah in NM you can nether skip through coins.
But uh... How did you get sulfur for rubber?
uhhhhh
steam centrifuging galena iirc
yeah, steam centrifuging impure galena piles
it sucks but it is, technically, sulfur production
later it was electrolyzing galena, and then EBFing galena for better efficiency and a nice pile of silver byproduct
I see.
Once you get your hands on early MMs or ash production you can get better sulfur IIRC.
Honestly, considering that 2 flawless emeralds is the only thing you strictly need the nether for, I lowkey want to find a way to make the pack beatable OW/void only now.
i would love to be able to do that in a way that's clean without changing balance, the question is just. how lmao
not a bad idea to make the pack beatable OW-only tbh
now Void only? not a fan of that idea
imo you should still have to go to the OW for a while even if you try immediately setting up your base in the void world
OW/void as in OW + void.
I feel like a fun post-1.0 update could be a "skyblock" toggle that makes void only possible.
But, and take this as an official statement:
The Monifactory team will not make any active effort towards supporting void-only/skyblock playthroughs of the pack during the beta phase.
-# Anything post-release is also purely hypothetical and not guaranteed.
This is a level of scope creep I feel will be easy to stick to.
aaah
the bolded text is based
I would love an official skyblock support, but it is like negative priority.
Void world/Skyblock is totally possible in NM thanks to Monicoins lol
has been for a while
only annoying part is the regular Skyblock part of grinding basic resources such as Iron to make the tools and bounty board to start buying ores but I made a minimalistic map that lets you skip that part
are you suppose to be able to use zinc to make chains, should mention I have create installed
is it intentional you need the 2 turbines to complete this quest?
since you need this to get the grinder and foundery(or however it is spelt) quests
yes HOWEVER i am under the opinion that this should also allow any GT Steam-producing thing except the Heater
but yea if you look at the ratio listed that's why it takes two
I do think GT steam turbines should be able to complete the quest
I didn't want to waste resources on the 2 RF turbines (I'm doing a NM no rf run for context)
well they gate the Steam multis so you don't even need power for those
why they require strictly POWER generation is beyond me
maybe just don't gate the steam multis behind them but ig most people are going the RF route
the foundry needs power?
I thought it only needed steam
(hard mode?) there are two ways to create an advanced magnet upgrade. one method requires LV for the enderio vacuum chest, or you can make one out of a pickup upgrade pre-steam age if you loot some enderpearls from lost cities
is the magnet upgrade intended to be gated to LV?
copying over from the general chat where i first posted this:
"the hv gas turbine, and the hv steam turbine both count as some of the machines needed to unlock the HV Age quest, but the HV combustion engines do not count towards the quest"
"looking at it its the same for MV tier too
i think they maybe just got missed in the 'whitelist' for the quests en masse
i cant see a reason why they shouldnt count"
i keep hearing you can make nether quartz out of glass but i don't have that recipe, is that intended because i'm on expert?
iirc nm only recipe
Exclusive to NM and HM uwu
it's disabled in EM specifically
from what I've heard at least
when i say "from what i've heard", i mean that i have done both NM and EM, but i haven't done HM
idk if it was allready mentioned but the new zpiglin and drowner HNN cant be used in higher tier machines only the single block one (i think it falls under "smaller things")
wdym higher tier
the multiblock ones
even in NEI it only shows the single block one
(i'm super bad at remembering names of machines xD)
let me get a screenshot, i exited my world so it doesnt come to a grinding halt xD
hmmm
yeah
normal ones have a section for the multiblocks
at least the predictions do have the multiblock section so maybe its just an oversight
well, i'm gonna wait for a fix before fixing my HNN stuff, i'm not setting up a ghetto single block machine XD
#2623
when this is merged they'll get their recipes
thanks
#moni-help message
UHV transformer recipe is different in crafting table and assembler : UHPIC vs UXPIC chip, which is a somewhat significant difference.
This is the only tier this happens. (IV to UV don't have crafting recipe (only assembler), all other tiers use no chip or the same on in both)
all instances of Bronze/Steel/Aluminium/Stainless Steel in Sophisticated Storage and Sophisticated Backpacks and the equivalents in Functional Storage have had their textures and names swapped back to Copper/Iron/Gold/Diamond for the former and Copper/Gold/Diamond/Netherite for the latter
idk when this changed but i think it happened in 0.13.4 or 0.13.5
-# me when KubeJS is just bugged for me LMFAO
the recipes remain the standard Moni recipes for these things too
so Diamonds and Netherite aren't even used in their named upgrades
@elfin apex have any comment? uwu
Can you tell me which version it happened in?
Also FUCKING WEBLATE!
The singleblock loot fabricator from HNN can still produce guardian scales despite them being depreciated, It also now has two identical recipes for wet sponge. These issues do not affect the multiblock loot fabricator, just the singleblock version.
The Quest about Cleanrooms says that any kind of door is allowed, but using the sliding Ad Astra Doors will not work
they are 9 blocks, the limit on cleanroom doors is 6
and it counts both blocks of each door as one
so turns out to max of 3 normal doors
Hello! Is it intended that zombified piglin and drowned don't work in the simulation supercomputer in 0.13.5?
is it normal that grinding or scrapping an UHV machine hull yields neutronium and not manyullyn?
that's a weird way to acquire neutronium
no but working with recycling is a pain in the goddamn ass
just ignore this recipe and produce Neutronium the old-fashioned way
I know, but apparently this recipe is still there in the last version so I thought I would report it
i just don't think it's very high priority rn
thanks for reporting
I'd rather the report and be able to put it on the list if anyone has time to fix it
than to not have it at all
@twilit oracle you're the specialist aren't you?
fixed in dev
Yet another questbook weird thing: On the progression tab, the Eleventh microminer has UEV circuits (Optical processor mainframe) as prerequisite (only show when you mouseover the T11 MM), but that circuit is not necessary at all to make this MM. I know, I have done it already and still don't have null (so no hyper RAM, so no Optical Mainframe). In the Home Stretch tab, the quest is validated though (they are not linked). T11 needs UHV circuit, not UEV.
no simulation supercomputer for this, is this intended?
fixed in dev
someone forgot to add them
idk who
ill take the blame
Ok thanks
electrolyzing apatite doesn't give oxygen?
Isn't that silicon dioxide? Whats the white dust
my game crashed when trying to load a world to check and i gtg but it should be calcium
intentional BUT yes this gives Phosphorus instead of Phosphate
not that you should be complaining
uwu
bwaaaa it doesn't subtick OC...
is that a maxed out rock cycle simulator
making netherrack...
Sulphur, no further comment.
ah that makes sense since you don't have HNN or Petrochem
but maxed out RCS
is a bit overkill
%t hikari
it's overkill until it's not
but not even that applies because it's not overkill to begin with
it's not...
but yea this thing should be giving me 16384 recipes at once
no idea tbh
i think it's something that has to be enabled for each multi
isn't RCS moni exclusive
i know that in 0.12, the Simulation Supercomputer (now Quantum Computer) and Loot Superfabricator (now...whatever it is lmao) also didn
't
yeah exactly
The lack of subtick is unintended but makes sense.
It's a one-line change in machine def.
we should make singleblocks have subtick
/j
yea
i could honestly PR it for all custom multis except the PrismaC and Microverse Projector
hold please
just gotta figure out how to make a PR kekw
join the ranks of
small question
does GTRecipeModifiers.OC_NON_PERFECT_SUBTICK also imply non-perfect OC in general
judging by the name
probably
just wondered because i don't see it in the 3 places it's present
give everything perfect oc subtick
/j
OC_PERFECT_SUBTICK is probably what the LCR uses
also should this be in #moni-dev
ye uwu
Make singleblocks rise from their downfall again
kill singleblocks
A GT modpack with only multiblocks could be funny NGL.
real
also i think i fucked something up along the way
greg multiblock madness????????????????????

Fix oreproc bottleneck before that

Or tbh something that would tell the multiblock to cycle between the given ores would be enough
threaded multis
to be clear this is not happening thou i wish it would
Recipe
Oh wait thats actually a word
Oh nvm actually
I think i made the mistake here
Why did i think the word must be written as recipie
reci🥧
is it intended for the duration to complete 1x and 2x wires on the wiremill to be the same?
yes?
because the 1x recipe makes 2
which can then be turned into 1 2x wire
2 1x Wire = 1 2x Wire
oh im dumb, thanks for clearing that up
and the pack is just 2x2 multi blocks with 1 energy 2 io and controller for every singleblock
Huh? I don't get it.
nah was my mistake forget bout it
We have the issue in TFG
I think the fix was to add the material info argument when redoing the recipe
ic
My Progression tab has been marked as validated when I did MAX age, while the chest is not done yet. Weird?
that's a linked quest
it's actually a part of the Endgame tab
ooh
Oh, I managed to trick the ORB into working while not consuming any resource
I cut the wire powering my HPCA
they are not consuming power nor PCB, but the ORB is stuck mid-cycle and is emitting its blue laser
it's not only a graphical glitch, as I was able to craft my Causality Exempt Monic Heavy Plating
(I was planning on waiting for every ingredient to be in the Assembly Line before powering the ORB again properly just for the time needed to make one plate, but the assembly line unexpectedly started crafting...)
10/10 coding on the ORB and TES am i right
me when the ORB shuts off my PSS
kekw
ORB?
referring to a bug that happened in like the beta versions or whatever
i think the ORB shut off the PSS by accident instead of the TES doing that
Oh fair.
btw in the 0.13 world i just cheated in a Creative Computation Provider because the Computation fucking refused to work
it was 8 passively cooled HPCAs and with the TES there's literally nothing being eaten specifically for those HPCAs so...
but yea computation can fuck off
Yeah we spent a WHILE connecting them all in the dev run. Fuck CWU pipenet.
Computation is a mechanic of all time
Uhmmm, exactly how buggy is this TES thing?
I've just tried completely switching over to it, and I have many of my old machines that now have this behaviour :
it seems breaking them and putting them on again fixes it, but I cannot be forced to do that everywhere the tiniest thing has broken down
I also have to reconfigure all their covers in the process...
hmmmmm
that's odd

shit so it's not notifying the machine that the charge has happened
shit
balls
hmmmmmmm i think i've fixed the functionality itself but it still shows the Insufficent Inputs widget

The widget sometimes fails to disappear once the problem has been fixed
I think that might just be a bug in base GT
maybe...
It is. Happens pre-TES too.
in that case i'll just make a quick release of monilabs as is with the fix i just made
Sorry to uncover weird stuff
nah its good actually
apologize if this has already been asked but I was messing about with ore processing set ups and noticed that endstone dust comes from macerating any lead ore instead of just endstone lead ore. is that on purpose?
very interesting, the same is true for osmiridium ores
AlmostUnified bug]
it affects GT ores
when it REALLY shouldn't
it's also why, when cooking shit in a regular ass Furnace, you can switch to 2x output on your ores
i don't think your specific instance has been reported admittedly
but looking at this'
i just know it's caused by AlmostUnified freaking out
hi just curious what is tes
best to ask in the help or main channel
but it's the creative energy multi
transdimentional energy singularity
I reported this for ruby (and another one I can't remember) in 0.13.1, I dunno if it's fixed in later versions.
Would you like me to check all ores next time I'm on my laptop?
well you don't have to report them individually
it's just a general issue with AlmostUnified
EVERY ore is affected
Oh ok. As far as EMI was concerned, it only showed the problem for a few specific ores. Because the recipe used the ore tag and not the specific ore encased in a specific stone.
But I don't know what AlmostUnified is, so I trust your judgement
AlmostUnified is the mod that merges a lot of stuff
unfortunately it also merges every single ore
0.13.6 will be the last 0.13 patch before 0.14.
If any of y'all know about simple bugs or critical issues requiring an urgent fix, let us know NOW.
Guardian prediction recipes in the singleblock loot fabricator
you can still make the depreciated guardian scales, and there are also two identical copies of the sponge recipe
it should not be possible to get a depreciated item through normal means
already known
still thanks for saying it
Very very minor thing for the website https://github.com/ThePansmith/Monifactory/releases/tag/untagged-bca7a6b4efedc059fa42
Is a 404 page
Not sure if this is the proper thread for it but i did want to note it
@elfin apex prob should check this out
is it intended for laser io nodes to not be able to directly input fluids into super tanks?
should work fine, however super tanks have an output side and by default do not accept fluid input from there
check in the super tank "change directional setting" gui
either that or just change where the output face is with a wrench
ahhh, gotcha. i had to place it from the side as a workaround
Substation uses IV circuits, but the quest is locked behind LuV circuits
Indium Concentrate is stated to use a Chemical Reactor, however uses a Mixer
Emergency Items timer is extremely difficult to read at all GUI scales
Just noting here that a player had a weird issue with ae2, the system would push crafts but all except the first set of items simply got voided. The thread leading to this point: #moni-help message
It was resolved by reinstalling, i don't think it merits a fix but it's worth keeping in mind for the future
reinstall worked, got the angel ring back too

Active Transformer quest is locked behind Advanced LuV Materials but doesnt require any as far as I can tell
you need niobium titanium for the IV power transformer
ah thanks
