It hurts the gameplay greatly. Your no longer rewarded for good mortars or good anti air play with a .50. Instead you are punished for it. I'm sure alot of people want this reverted. Met many :/

Having shot the .50 IRL, it recoils more than you think. At some point youre just pointing it and holding on for dear life

Perhaps, but that doesn't make it good for gameplay. Gameplay does trump realism.

With all the other issues .50s have, this pushes them into nearly unplayable

Yeah all of the changes to .50 cal really makes you wonder what practical use they have besides being used to sit in a spot and hunt logistics...

Gameplay will always matter more then whats realistic tbh. No ones gonna wanna do mortars for example if they have to readjust after every fucking round
