As title suggests, some teamkills are inherently more forgivable or necessary situationally, such as teammates stuck in terrain, bugged, or during chaotic firefights, or IEDs.
Contrastingly, malicious, negligent, or repeated teamkills may be extremely detrimental to the team.
Once having been teamkilled, a small menu to forgive or punish the teamkill could be given, using the same menu as the vehicle approval system for SLs. A forgiven teamkill does not contribute to the player's automatic TK ban counter and has a reduced timer of 10/15 second penalty, whereas a choice to punish the TK will result in a lengthened 60 - 90 second timer, with the current system of stacking penalties in place.
