Have coax work like in Squad 44 where right mouse button fires coax and left mouse button fires everything else and have the main gun load automatically when you fire.

Right click coax would not work with most of the reticles. It would be a nerf for the coax since accurate aiming would basically be impossible.
The better solution would be to reduce/remove the delay of switching to the MG, and make it not interrupt the main gun reloading process. This basically achieves the same without the disadvantages.

The current systems are not capable of multiple weapons being fireable at the same time

interrupted main gun reload is such an obnoxiously stupid feature/issue to have. especially considering the audio track does not get interrupted and incorrectly cues for loaded rounds

only in squad logic do you have loaders yelling "up" for empty breaches

As long as things like the IMF field gun get similar. They also need to reload switching from frag. And anti tank could do with faster switching to rpg.

Not how coaxes work

Coaxes are linked directly to the canons either through a transfer gear or just welding so they move as a pair its why they are called CO-AXIAL as in the share their axis of movement with the canon. In reality the gunner needs to either select them in the FCS where the canon will move to align the coax in accordance to the FCS ballistic tablet for 762 or on older russian vehicles eleavate his canon to aim the coax and shoot with the coax stadia lines in the bottom of his optic end result being the same of you shooting one or the other not at the same time

How it is in game is correct only thing is that you dont have is a LRF and FCS to calaculate the shot for you
