The new "military style" icons make it very difficult to understand what type of faction people are voting for ESPECIALLY for newer players.

There are also other options to communicate clearly what type a battlegroup is, like adding a text on the tiles like light infantery, armored, etc. Or replacing the image with ones that represent the actual equipment and weapons instead of generic ones for every type. This way the new icons could stay but players could still identify the type instantly.
