after 300+ hours in the game i suddenly ran into a bug where the intro movie cant be skipped no worries pull the file out well now the game wont even launch with or without the intro file i took a break for a year come back and guess what the bug still hasn't been fixed and im out $50 becuase devs cant fix the game thanks offworld your the best

Usually caused by 2 things.
- You have an outdated mod in your workshop files you need to unsub from.
- Not enough free drive space where squad is installed. You need around 50gb free to open the game.

It's ridiculous that this is an issue, but a few months ago I had it as well. Those were the steps that fixed it for me.... To clarify, technically you need the ridiculous amount of free space for the mod(s) to be able to update.... AFAIK. Never installed another mod since then, not risking it again.
