#More AFU Uniqueness: MiG-29 instead of Su-25

The new commander asset bombing strike is a nice addition to the assets and provides some uniqueness to the AFU. It is conducted by the Su-25 which ofc is a suitable pick but in my opinion a way more unique pick that even fits better and distinguishes it more from the RGF would be the MiG-29 (yes it is also Russian but it’s about who uses what gor uniqueness).
The MiG-29 is often used (now amd prior 2022) to conduct such strikes even if it’s not a classic „bomber“. First the MiG-29 can carry exactly these bombs to conduct the strike and it is way faster and has better evasion capabilities than the Su-25.

I would love to see this maybe considered for future attempts to further update and separate the AFU from the RGF while both still use soviet-made weapons, vehicles or planes sometimes modernized.

It would be cool for a unique plane, but then again like you said the mig29 isnt exactly a ground attack aircraft

You don’t have to model a „full“ jet, just a jet like now. The MiG-29 is a multirole fighter jet and used more often than the Su-25, that’s why it would be a nice thing

Well I mean Squad jets aren't exactly as detailed as the ground vehicles so it probably won't be a huge ask. I don't think it's a bad idea. :)

I imagine the faction will slowly get improved over time. I'm hoping to see that also with other factions too.

Ukraine with SU 25 only dumb rocket strike

Russia VDV same SU 25 but SU 34 with bombs

RGF with SU 25 only rocken strike would be perfect with me.

Ukraine shouldnt have different aif strikes cause they jave an string army but an weak air force.

Its more like a feeling because ukraine with its Tina and outdated air force have more options than the americans lets say. I mean common they have two different air strikes but the Marines use an F/A-18 with dumb fired rockets. Factions like ukraine, Australia, Canada should feel inferior to langer military powers. Because of Balance they cannot have simoly less to drivable vehicles - just give them fewer options to commanders and those large countries more.

Also I think factions should have more Identity. Ukraine e is known fore drones. Fine, give them more drones.

Give the americans more often and more divers air strines (a10, F- 15E) and Marines F-18 and F-35 for example.

VDV an SU 34 and SU 25 so they feel more like an air birne force and stay with the SU 25 for the RGF. Give them (RGF) rather more arttilery.

And so on....

1 unique command strike aircraft is as important to gameplay as 100. Its just a thing commander can use once a game to destroy a vehicle or radio. its useless complexity to give them 2 different command strikes to accomplish the same goal. Ukraine is pre 2022 so has no fpv drones. Russia already has the most different vehicles in the game and preforms really well, they don't need more artillery. Ukraine had 124-128 combat aircraft pre 2022 and still operates a bunch today. its nothing to scoff at. Its completely pointless modelling these differences

Hahaha, little clowns came running to react to my messages. What's the problem with just adding bombs to Russia? So, we'll give bombs to Ukraine but not to Russia? Very unbiased.
